I recently used President Moving to move here in the East Bay. The searching process was a pain in the rear because I went to a moving website for quotes and got bombarded with calls and emails from 15 different companies. I responded to five of them that sounded decent enough but when I spoke with Jayson from President Moving I was sold. They didn't seem to be as cheap as some of the other movers I had talked to, but something told me at the very least these guys would do a good job for me. Turns out the President Moving wasn't expensive at all, considering I pretty much had them do everything. Mario and his team came in and boxed up all of my home theater system, covered up my furniture, specially wrapped up my weight machine, and they even protected older furniture that was already banged up. I watched over the movers here and there but I really didn't need to. They were doing a really good job and working hard. So the cost was good, the service was excellent and they really made the whole thing a hassle free experience. When or if you ever have to move give President Moving a call. more

These guys from President Moving are on the top of the game! Their service is incomparable and they try their best to make the moving process as uncomplicated as possible. They are dressed professionally in uniform and ask questions first before doing anything. I guess they do this to avoid problems later on, and misunderstanding. Most companies just want to get the job done as fast as they can and are not concerned with the quality of service. These guys take pride in what they do and plan accordingly! That is way the quality of service I got was superior. Great job especially to Patrick and his team! more

I moved from NY to Houston, TX with President Moving and I’m very satisfy with my choice. Samantha on the phone was very nice and honest. On the move date Mario the foreman and his crew arrived on time and were very friendly and nice to be around. All my items were loaded fast and careful to the track. My shipment delivered to me on time and in great condition. I will defiantly recommend President Moving. more

It was my first major move and I was afraid of contracting a moving company that would slam me with hidden fees as other people mentioned in online reviews of other moving companies. This was not the case with President moving. Eli the Sales rep was very polite and honest. On my move date Abu the Forman and his crew were very careful with my items, not a single thing was broken. We moved on 2/1/2013 and I hired President Moving and Storage. I have never hired professional movers for residential move before. I could not believe how professional and courteous the three movers were. They met us at our storage facility at 9 am and within 35 minutes everything was loaded from our 10x15 unit and we were cleaning up and driving to next location.\r \r The crew was headed up by Eli (foreman) and he was assisted by David and Chris. They were friendly and absolutely hustled the entire time. The only time I saw them sit down was driving from locations. They wrapped up our mattress and shrink wrapped dressers and wrapped all fragile items. They filled up the truck at our second location and drove to our new 3 story town home in mount Vernon.\r \r At our new home they brought all items in our home without damaging anything. I was extremely satisfied with my experience with this company. I would recommend to anyone who is looking for professional movers. Ask for Eli as he is a great lead and really gets his team to keep moving. more

Just wanted to take this opportunity to express my appreciation for all the hard work that Abu ,Patrick and Terry overcame during my move, which started as the move from hell!!\r A Sofa set that took 4 delivery guys from a furniture store, caused damaged to my house, and took several hours was like a piece of cake for the movers who took no longer then 15 minutes to get the set out!! I have recommended President to all my friends and will continue to do so because I believe I have found the best in the business, both service wise and price! I moved with President because of the reviews I found on the web. I hadn't moved in a while and really didn't find another way of choosing a company. I recommend them because they find the way to give you a plan that really adjusts to your needs and budget. They accompanied me throughout the process and I felt I could rely on them. Had a good experience with President Moving. They were on time in the morning and worked efficiently. They took good care of me and my roomate's admittedly worn furniture. I got to our new place in Brooklyn faster than the movers, but that's to be expected, since they had to deal with traffic. They unloaded pretty quickly with no problems. No complaints to mention, which just means it all went smoothly. Sales process was just as easy. Sales guy was pretty chill and trustworthy. Answered my many questions. Price included everything since I packed my own boxes. Overall, the company was very easy to deal with. Would use again. more

GREAT MOVE!!!\r I HAD A PRETTY BIG MOVE LAST MOVE OF MY 3 BEDROOM APT AND I HAPPEN TO SEE TLC ON GOOGLE AND CALLED THEM UP. THE PERSON THAT PICKED UP THE PHONE WAS VERY HELPFUL IN GIVING ME INFO & EVEN SENT SOMEONE OVER TO ACCURATELY TELL ME HOW MUCH IT WAS GOING TO BE.THE PRICES WERE NOT OUT THE ROOF LIKE THE OTHER COMPANIES I CALLED. THANKFULLY THE MOVERS GOT TO MY PLACE ON TIME AND MOVED ALL MY THINGS SAFELY & WITH CARE. WHICH IS WHY I AM TAKING TIME OUT TO ACKNOWLEDGE THEM. more

I will never move again without President.President Rocks... From beginning to end I had great experience with them. They were fast and professional very responsive and careful. from beginning to finish they did and outstanding performance. I did find them true a friend who recently had a great experience with them and mind was excellent too. I paid less than $950 for moving 3 BDR apartment form NY to NJ. Patrick and his crew were very efficient, did not complain for anything even working on less40 degrees outside. Thank you guys. I wish great success to President. more

\r From start to finish this was a very pleasant company to deal with. My flat rate quote was very competitive, and the salesperson took his time to make sure he had a solid understanding of my belongings to avoid surprises. On the day of the move, I was contacted early in the day to confirm the times. I was told there might be a couple hour delay due to the hurricane 3 days prior. This was greatly appreciated so that I could plan accordingly. The guys showed up at their (adjusted) time, and had my stuff loaded in no time. They arrived on time to my destination, and had everything into my apartment within an hour. The guys even helped me assemble some furniture. This moving company goes above and beyond to make sure they communicate well, and take extra care of your belongings. One moving company cancelled my move due to the storm aftermath and long gas lines, but these guys made the extra effort and did not ask for anything above the quoted price. I'd highly recommend them to anyone who needs a mover in the tri state area. The best part is that their quote is ALL INCLUSIVE so you know for sure there would not be any surprises. more

I used this company last week and I am VERY happy with the services. They performed full packing and unpacking, none of my items were broken nor was there an issue locating items after they've unpacked. They placed all of the items where I requested. I didn't have a problem with the moving company at all, no extra charges, damages or any misunderstandings whatsoever, I really do appreciate them and their effort. Best guys to work with! These guys were great! I thought my move was going to be a disaster but to my surprise it went smooth. They moved me yesterday and the move went much quicker than we expected , way cleaner and (thankfully) we maintained in our price range. While most companies were charging me for boxes and wrapping my stuff up they gave me free boxes and said wrapping my stuff was no additional cost- that's when they won me over. What's more, is that they came prepared for some last minute packing (we were slower than we thought when it came to packing). We were very surprised this moving company did so well considering all of the bad reviews I've read about others - kudos to them for being one of the good ones out there. I just recently moved using this company and they were really great. I just received a job offer in NYC for a short term position for 18 months, so I had to move my items from temp housing to my new apartment in Manhattan. All of the employees from the Office team to the Moving team were really friendly and went beyond what they needed to, to help me plan my move. I was really confident in the advice they offered and after doing my research and speaking to several different companies President Moving seemed to be the only company that offered complete honesty and a reasonable price. They were on time and are very experienced with moving in such a busy city. I expected the move to be slowed down by Friday mid-day traffic in the city but all my stuff was picked up and dropped off on time despite traffic conditions. I was happy to find out they also offered long distance moving since I will be moving back to California after my job assignment here. I'm happy to see other people had similar experiences I definitely recommend this company to anyone moving in the city. more
