Mrs. Roles private laundry does good work however their hours may not work with many of our busy lives and schedules, they are not even open seven days a week. When they are open, it is not 24 hours, which something that New York City dwellers have come to expect. They do offer free pick up and delivery though.

I went the G & G Cleaner to fix my jackets and pants after my co worker recommended me this place. She said many soho boutiques commission them to do the alterations and they usually do a good job and they did! The price was pretty cheap and their alteration was very nicely done. The Chinese workers there speak English very well and they are very attentive. I highly recommend this place!

They do not pick up or deliver entirely for free, however, and require a minimum order to have free pick up and delivery.

Since I live just around the corner from Wei Ping, and I wanted to save time on laundry, I decided to try out their services. Do not be fooled by the cheerful greeting of the lady or her friendly banter. They quoted me prices of $6.50 for the first 8 pounds and $0.65 cents per pound thereafter.
Well, I dropped off 35 pounds of laundry and my bill came out to an incredible $39.65!!! They tacked on numerous previously undisclosed fees, which they are UNABLE to explain since they "couldn't find" the paper. There were $2 charges here and there, and basically I was forced to pay 65% more just to get my laundry back!!!!
In addition, some of my laundry was still dripping wet. To their credit, they folded the laundry nicely and got it back when they said they would. Even so, I cannot recommend this laundry place.
I am never using this service again.
