Clodagh Design is a interior and architectural design studio. I attended the studio by a chance of the event "Openhousenewyork 2005". The office originally is the Brooks Brothers Clothing House and has preserved the dramatic original brick arches and walls and considerd feng shui principles in the renocation of this loft space. You can feel free to use all the displayed furnitures and the comfortable interior design will put you totally at ease. It's an awesome space for taking a look.

if youre furniture shopping this place is definitely worth checking out. whats nice is everything you want to order is what i would call quasi custom. you can mix all types of metals with a bunch of types of woods. you go into a crate and barrell and one style comes in one color, etc. so much more flexibility. all the stuff is contemporary and clean looking and not as expensive as that italian stuff.

If you are looking to add to your home decor with a few pieces of really special and / or comfortable furniture or cabinets, let Thos. Moser at least give you a quote. They have a wide selection of especially chair designs that look great, but more importantly are very comfortable. They have a standard set of designs, but will also take custom orders (more expensive, more time for delivery). They are right on Madison Avenue too, so convenient if you need others in your family to check out your planned purchases

This is one of those neat stores that you find in Downtown Manhattan. Their selection is good, but the lack is that it is extremely hit or miss. They tend to have cool home furnishings, but don't go looking for a wine rack, because they may not have the exact one. Taht said, if you are furnishing your apartment, definitely worth a trip.
