If you're ever in need of soy sauce, rice, noodles, sesame oil, etc., this is your place to come! Everything sells for sometimes $1 - $3 cheaper than in uptown grocery stores! You will find things here for stir fries, noodle dishes, and things you have never heard of!
Upstairs are all your staple cooking products, and a refrigerated section, and yummy nut and candy/cookie mixes.
Downstairs is a plethora of noodles (do you remember the soup packets with noodles, just add water? TONS of that stuff downstairs!) and a great tea section. In addition to boxed teas is a wide selection of loose teas, fresh fresh.
And if you wanted sake bottles and cups, or plates, bowls, chopsticks, wow, so much to choose from for such small prices.
They also have lots of cookware - woks, rice cookers, etc.
Definitely a place to browse through if you're in the area!

This is a great place for a bachelorette party, or to just have a fun and out-of-the-norm night out. (Assuming you don't already sing every night...)
There is a main dining room where you can watch other people sing, or jump in yourself. What's nice is that, unlike Mr. Biggs on 10th ave, this place actually has a lot of people who are bad singers, so you won't feel bad!
The food - classic sushi, sake, etc - is great, too, so you can get drunk and sing even better. ;-)
I went here recently for a bachelorette party - though the private room was shaped in a strange way, it was a fantastic experience - wait staff was very attentive, food was great, we picked whatever songs we wanted and belted them out - great for a laugh anytime.

This cafe is across the street from Grand Central Station. It is delicious!!
We had breakfast there. There is a formal sitting area and a less formal one. It was packed so we had to sit in the less formal one. I had french toast and it was to die for!! The best french toast I had ever had! It was pretty pricey for breakfast though but it was really good.

Mmmmm. That is all I can say. I am not talking about ok, passable or even good. They are simply some of the best sandwiches you can find, whether it's cold, grilled or hot, they are all done with care. The menu can be somewhat overwhelming, but they can cook up one hell of a breakfast, too. Try it some time...

Indian street food - at least that's what they call it. If you're looking for a quick (usually takes around 6mins), good eat in Curry Hill, check this place out. I opt for the Chicken Tikka Rolls - 2 for $9. Not too greasy, yummy spices, chicken, eggs, lettuce. Really simple. The quality has gone down a bit over the last couple months, but still worth a look.

I replied to an posting they had on careerbuilder and they called the next day and left a message saying they'd like to meet with me. The job I had applied for online was never mentioned and I was told to call them back in a few days if I hadn't heard from them. They called me about three weeks later and set me up with an interview with a company who eventually offered me a job, but I declined the job since I had already accepted a job somewhere else I'd been interviewing. The staff here was so completely rude when I told them that, I couldn't believe it. Seeing as how it is my life and my decision to make, I saw no need for the excessive rudeness (even meanness!) I experienced from this firm when I didn't provide them with a fat commission they were hoping for. I was thinking of referring a friend to this agency but decided against it after that display.

This location is just like every other Hollywood Tans, as in that they have the same decor, packages, and amenities along with their stand-up only tanning beds. It's good as a more reasonable alternative to some of the pricier tanning salons in the neighborhood, but the benefit ends there. The staff who work there are just so sour and unfriendly, why I have no idea. But it makes an otherwise ordinary experience that much more unpleasant, the end result being that I'll go elsewhere for my tan.
