Down in a musty basement this is what the first comic stores must have been like. They carry the new comics but waht makes this store better than many inmy eyes is that they have tens of thousands old comics. Boxes and bins full. They have spotty hours so call to make sure someone will be there before making the trip.

I've been dragged into countless comic books stores but this is one if his favorites! He loves that he can look for really old issues of his favorite comics (from when he was a kid) and also find the newer releases as well. I usually have my son in tow so I have to make sure he doesn't rip or tear any collectable works of art but he loves looking at the pictures. Call ahead, we've shown up an hour after they are scheduled to open and an hour before closing to find them already closed - so it seems that SOMETIMES they decide to leave early or sleep in. It's a pretty cool place though - but like most things on the Upper East Side - hit an ATM first, it's kind of expensive!

Down a flight of stairs is a musty basement filled to the brim with old and new comic books and toys. The fellows who work there are very knowledgable and this place is a fun journey down memorey lane. You can buy comic books from $1 to comics that sell for hundreds. Capatain America, The Fantastic Four and Spider-Man they are all here . You can spend hours and thousands here and never get everything you'd like to own.
