I can't say enough good words about body beautiful I go there primarily for laser treatments which ROCK!! I do laser hair removal and have my veins on my legs done. I'm a dancer and I very self concious about the veins all over my legs. I have done 3 sessions with Richard the owner and he is AMAZING! I won't say it doesn't hurt or that you look bruised for a week or two but it is so worth it I don't need leg cover up make up like I used to. I'm not totally vein free I probably need one or two more sessions but my bikini is so smooth after all this time it's amazing. Thank you Richard for putting a smile back on my face I almost want to cry.

I have been going to Kasia for lasering for over a year now and I adore her. After reading some of the reviews here, I decided to give their waxing a try and I'm so happy I did. I got a Brazilian wax from Richard, after not having been waxed in quite some time, and it was virtually pain-free. Also, he spent an hour making sure all my hairs were gone. All that and at $45 and it's much cheaper than my regular waxing place. I will definitely be going here for my Brazilians from now on. Pros: Friendly, thorough & great prices

It is a DELIGHT going to Body Beautiful for a bikini wax. Who'd have thought I'd ever use the words "delight" and "bikini wax" in the same sentence?!? The spa itself is so relaxing. Clean and quiet. Smells good. And the prices are exactly what they should be. But the real attraction is Kasia. This woman knows her stuff! And not only does she know what she's doing, she clearly takes great pride in her work. I have never experienced her level of attention to detail with anyone else who has ever waxed me. She does a great job with the actual hair removal as well as with putting you at ease during it. She has great pearls of wisdom to offer on so many cosmetic questions, and she's pretty and funny on top of it all (with an adorable accent). I'm pretty much in love with her. (Not to be creepy!) This place is an East Village gem and I would recommend it to anyone, men and women alike! Pros: KASIA, KASIA, KASIA (also clean, quiet, decently-priced) Cons: None

Discovered this little place through an advertisement. Booked an appointment with Kasia online - very convenient! Receptionist on the phone was very helpful and friendly. However, when I entered the salon, it seemed that a different girl was there. She wasn't so friendly at the end of the visit and only half-heartedly acknowledged my follow up questions at the visit. Overall, the actual waxing experience was great - Kasia has a regular customer of me and I'm going to recommend her to all my friends! Pros: Kasia's waxing expertise and professionalism Cons: Receptionist was slightly unpleasant / unhelpful

What a delightful experience! Relaxing and refreshing! I stumbled upon this lovely little spa online and was inspired by some of the reviews. Just what I needed after having had a 'rough day'. I had a great facial with Richard the owner. Maybe great doesn't do it justice: Excellent facial with Richard! I've been to many of the larger spas over the years. I got a brazilian wax with Kasia, and she used the hard wax and it was painless. Kasia is very attentive and left no ingrowns behind. I loved it. The staff was extremely nice and I did not have to wait. I traveled all the way from NJ to see her in NYC and I will continue to do so. Also -- the services are cheap (compared to other places I have visited). Pros: Painless Painless Painless Cons: None

This place is truly a hidden gem in the East Village. Not only is it highly professional but the services are very affordable--a rarity indeed. Kasia is amazing. She gives a truly awesome facial and really extracts everything. I have very acne prone skin, but getting a facial every 6 weeks from her keeps my skin clear. I've also gotten a chemical peel from her in the past, and it was great. I'll definitely go back to her when I need another one soon. Definitely check this place out if you are in need of some spa time...It's so difficult to find a reputable spa in this area, but Body Beautiful made it easy. I will never go anywhere else! Went to this spa for the first time recently, after reading their great reviews on citysearch. I was excited to find out that all the reviews were true- the place is very clean and efficient. Prices are definitely reasonable and I was in and out with quickly (and relatively painlessly) waxed legs! Richard was professional and quick... great services! I stopped in spontaneously after having the worst breakout of my adult life to see if i could get an appointment that same day (they give 20% off for new walkins right now even, but this was my 2nd visit here). The facialist was amazing! she was personable and gave me suggestions about my skin situation, and spent SO much time on doing the extractions properly and thoroughly, and my skin is on it's way to recovering! I was really impressed with her efforts and the masks she used...this even included a nice shoulder and neck massage. For the $65 price, i definitely feel i got my money's worth. It was low key, they do not push products at all and they took me on time and didn't rush the facial. it even ran a little longer than the hour it was supposed to last, and i really appreciated that too. if you live in the east village, there's no reason to pay more or travel out of the neighborhood. this place is great. Pros: friendly staff, no attitude, clean, punctual Cons: none that i noticed in 2 visits
