Stumbled across this great lounge while waiting to get into Yama last weekend. Went back again this week.
No attitude, very nice people,my date LOVED the drinks. Go early as the garden is small, grab a corner and hang out all night
Pros: martinis in private garden
Cons: hard to find, they need a sign outside

Love WHISKY BLUE, The cocktails are awesome. At WB I love to dress with class, check me out and see for yourself. The service is adequate,(meaning someone doesn't bother you ever 5 minutes asking if you want something else). Bartenders know their stuff, WHISKY BLUE rocks with class.
If you are hungry, you don't have to leave, just talk to your waitress, she will fix you up. It's full of beauiful people who dress to shock. So don't be shy, try WHISKY BLUE if you dare.
Pros: Very Trendy

Puffy's used to be the place to be. Everyone was there Men, Woman, black, white, asian, whetever and sometimes people evan brought there kids. Everybody loved it and there was a great bar tender named MCaly, or I think thats how you spell it. Now the place is gone. There are only about five or sixe people a night and the great bar tender is gone. Everybody hates it and they took out there great old bar and put in a new one thats supposed to look old and isn't acually old. You used to see it in many movies such as changing lanes but now you don't see it at all. If you pass by it and it looks cool, or you think you remember it from somewhere DO NOT GO IN, it will only depress you

Rose's Turn is my preferred piano bar. It's not quite right for those of you looking for group singalongs of Broadway showtunes (try Marie's Crisis next door for that), but it is perfect if you wan to hear spectacular performers sing solo (both the staff that do regular sets and audience members who sign up to sing), or want to sing along in groups to a range of music including show tunes and various hits from the 60s on. If Michael is working behind the bar, ask him to sing Rich, Famous and Powerful during one of his sets. There's a 2 drink minimum after 9 on busy nights, and a cabaraet performance space upstairs.

GREAT food: this place has the best fish & chips in town. Even my boyfriend, who is not an anglophile like me, found plenty of menu items to make him happy.
GREAT drinks: they have Magner's Cider on tap and, for some reason, that makes it taste even better.
FUN ATMOSPHERE: I dragged some out-of-town friends there and we had a great time. We got a table outside, drank and chatted to our heart's content.

The bartenders here are bartender’s bartenders: sharp, attentive & polite. It’s a comfortable & easygoing atmosphere and pretty much nobody's gonna bother you (you being female). And you don’t have to be here every day (or even every other week) to be recognized & welcomed as a regular. Atmosphere is right on: not fancy & not seedy, either.

The Bleecker Street Bar is a fantastic bar in the Lower East Side. It has the atmosphere you’d expect from any good bar: good for watching the game with friends and good for getting hammered. There crowd that visits here is pretty good on the whole, not too many self righteous New Yorkers; mostly your average Joes. Great place
