When we walked in, no cover which was cool....i went for a cousin bday party and left before eatting..Big MISTAKE! The food was a bit over priced being that we only ordered some Kulchas( Nans) and Varitey of Kebas.it came out to $175... being the food wasn't that good... i felt that it was watered down not very authentic indian food.... which is ok since i didn't get sick after eatting it! but no one wants to get ripped off
my advice is your better off going to Richmond Hill or Jackson Heights and having some great Indian food....Don't go here to Eat!
after dinner they moved the tables and it turned into a club... The DJ wasn't playing any good songs.( i guess i didn't like the music) ... but there was a good crowd... I enjoyed my self but i felt like i got ripped off on the meal...If you want indian food your better off eating in queens.... come to earth for the party
Pros: good ambience good service nice place to bring a girl
Cons: overpriced indian food for couples trying to be romantic

My friends and I ate here at 6:30pm on a Sunday. FOOD: Entrees are not put on your main plate; they come in their own bowls ? which we loved, as it allowed us to more easily sample each other?s dishes. Great for a newcomer to Indian cuisine, like me. Also great for those practicing portion control. Entrees do NOT include side dishes, so for a party of four or more, ordering a bread basket for the table instead of separate sides is a good deal for everyone. The food was outstanding. The spiciness of the dishes was just right. For dessert, I had the Chocolate Dynamite Cake ? which is a misnomer. There was much more mousse than cake. It was excellent, but very dense. It?s almost worth the extra money to order kulfi (Indian ice cream) and eat them together. Specialty cocktails are made strong and were nearly half price when we went (might have been part of a Happy Hour deal). SERVICE: You will get a phone call to confirm your reservations. Our server did NOT give us a hassle when we asked for separate checks. Everyone's orders arrived in a timely manner. One of my friends mentioned to our server that one of her favorite Indian dishes was not on the menu. She eventually decided to get an on-menu dish. When her entree came, the server also brought a small cup of the off-menu dish (and didn?t charge us for it). SCENE: The place was empty when we arrived, but started filling up by the time we left (around 9-10pm). Dress code seemed to be dressy casual. DECOR: Beautiful and comfortable. The table spacing and air conditioning was just right. The music was good and not too loud or intrusive to conversation. Discovering that there are four single-person unisex bathrooms was a pleasant surprise (and they were clean!). LOCATION: Desolate. I am female and would NOT feel comfortable standing on that street for too long by myself after dark. Travel in packs, ladies.
Pros: Service, Food, Decor, Bathroom
Cons: Location, Some menu items are pricey

Food was decent. Price was reasonable, and place has great decor. After dinner the place turns into a bar/club. I was celebrating there for my 31st, and had a blast. The crowd was good, and the age group was late 20's I think, at least it seemed that way. There is a loft area that can be reserved, for a small group. Nice place, good fun.

The website might look great, but the restaurant was a nightmare. They abrutly closed the kitchen before we could order our dinner at 10:30PM, to set up for a dance area. Then they began to play music from Eddie Murphy, the last time I heard Eddie Murphy's songs was in the 80's. The drinks were overprised and tasted like water. My girlfriend's and I bolted from this restaurant and had a excellent time at Buddakkan.
Pros: Nice website
Cons: bad food, bad music and bad attitude by staff

i just celebrated my birthday party at Earth this past saturday (Apr 12 2008). My friends are used to places such as Cain, Pink Elephant, Cipriani's,.... So when I came up with the idea of Earth, everyone was really skeptical. I didn't even know the place! It was my first time there and already on the phone the boss was amazingly nice, easygoing and soooo convenient. We were about 100 people in the place and everyone had the best time. The DJ is awesome, the food is great. One advice, if you're planning your party early enough, you might even get a chance to book the beautiful mezzanine.
Now just GOOO!
Pros: waiters are so caring about you, and so eager to know how they can make your time there better!

We've been to this cool, 2-level Indian Lounge several times and consistently have had an outstanding meal every, single time! The quality of the food, especially the non vegeterian dishes, is much better than most of the other local Indian restaurants in Manhattan, and is always delicious. The staff is friendly and warm,We've introduced many Indian friends to Earth, who have had the same experience like us. Love their bar area and some of the drinks they have on their wine list, another fav of ours is the fried okra and badami shrimp they have on their menu, and to end a lovely meal one can taste their kulfi.....which my friends... we can never stop at just one!!!!
