City Bakery is popular. Not just with lunchtime crowds, folks doing the Union Square thing and those in the know. It is also popular with Sex & the City addicts and chocoholics. Because they sell Scharffen Berger. And have an amazing food buffet (hot & cold - the sesame udon noodles are to die for). And killer hot chocolate that even I, a true professed chocoholic, cannot finish by myself unless some of the cup is taken up with a huge fluffy marshmallow. Lucky for me as a cup cost $4 a pop.
Not for thin wallets.
