Their extensive vintage and contemporary couture collection, including, Chanel, Halston, Mackie, and Versace, etc., is well priced and within reach of the average shopper looking for valued vintage clothing.
The store is run by Allan and his business partner Suzie, both are very charming and helpful and provide excellent customer service and advice.
The store also accepts vintage clothing for sale on consignment basis.

The window displays here are always so neat. They just draw you in and you just walk through their doors. They have such an eclectic mix of clothes. Lots of club wear, alternative and just plain funky. Occasionally you can find some great buys in the bargain or clearance sections. Prices seem to run a bit high for what you get. Just depends on how you perceive clothing, fashion statement or personal statement.

After the fire that left an old church abandoned, the owners decided to renovate the basement and start a bookstore. You wouldn't be able to spot it at first thinking it was a buddhist temple of some sort but one step inside and there's no mistake that you've stepped into BJ. Inside you'll find shelves of good chinese literature, very rare in manhattan and a good selection of unique chinese calligraphy utensils. Towards the back is a small collection of imported Chinese replica art. These are very good replicas and may be mistaken for the real thing when you look at the prices but don't make the mistake of buying it (those prices are priced to be negotiated). Even if you're not in the mood to buy anything I would recommend just walking in and taking a look to absorb the culture.

Chameleon Comics is located several blocks away from Wall Street and City Hall so you tend to see an older crowd packing this store. They keep a decent collection of comics in here but more known for their sport cards. You'll find anything from a Mickey Mantle rookie to a Derek Jeter autographed jersey. You'll frequently see collectors in the store trading and selling inside as a meeting place. The owners don't mind and they actually love it as it brings in new customers all the time. This is the perfect place to find a gift for the sports fan in your life.
