I love the food at Mexicali Rose. We usually get take out because the restaurant is small. I will go out of my way to stop by there and get the home-made tortilla chips and salsa. The chips are just fantastic and cost less per bag than "big brand" chips at the grocery store.

The Nachos with Choriza are a meal in themself. You can get your burrito to order so if you are like me and fussy, only what you order goes in it!

EVERYTHING IS HOMEMADE/HANDMADE AND IS THE CLOSEST TO AUTHENTIC MEXICAN FOOD I HAVE EVER TASTED OUTSIDE OF MEXICO. THEY ARE ALSO VERY ACCOMODATING TO PREPARE ITEMS TO YOUR TASTE. DON'T FORGET TO CHECK THE DAILY SPECIALS AND THEIR HOMEMADE CHIPS & SALSA. THEY CAN BE A LITTLE PRICEY BUT IT IS WELL WORTH IT. THEY ARE CLOSED ON MONDAYS.
