The Newtown Drug Center is an "old-fashioned" pharmacy. It reminds me of the pharmacy where I grew up. You can, of course, get medicines & prescriptions filled. They also have cards, locally made "stuff" and a caring atmosphere. You get personal attention and the pharmacy will even DELIVER meds if you need them to! Not only that, but they also carry a variety of homeopathic and herbal remedies over the counter that I used to have to drive miles to find in another store. Newtown Drug Center is located on Church Hill Road, just south of the railroad overpass, in the same building as Newtown Hardware.

These people are very helpful. My niece was doing a science project and they donated old crutches for her to use to build her idea. No questions asked. They were wonderful. The Drug Center has a big parknig lot and is very convenient, right on Church Hill Road. They take insurance cards and are not connected to any major chain drug stores. They are definitely family oriented.
