Great Cuts at half the price! 4/4/2006

This academy is great especially if you are looking to spend as little money as possible. The cuts are great and are always under the supervision of the owner of the salon which is located upstairs. Very, very busy place but what I liked best is that they are open six days a week. Appointments are a must - No walk ins!! You get who you get - if you happen to like the girl who is in training to cut or colored your hair you can make an appointment for her right then and there - not after. Call ahead for hours. more

Can't beat the price 7/23/2005

With a haircut only like $13 or something, you can't beat it. Remember, it is an academy, so you need to have patience. They put the students out on the floor to cut hair right before they graduate. I prefer them, although they sometimes take a bit longer, aren't as confident in themselves and ask advice of the teacher - I love them because they are just beginning, they are young and they love what they are doing. They are creative and if you're wiling to spend a couple extra minutes, I think you will really like them. more
