I have been very happy with the cuts up until my latest yesterday. The price of the cut went up, but the cut was below the standard of excellence I have received. The stylist didn't put in as much time, cut it much shorter than agreed upon, and was more intent on selling products than giving a good cut. I would have to think twice before going back.

I received a coupon for a cut and style at Ricci's. What a great place! I left a great haircut , the products I needed, and spent time talking to the receptionists while I waited...I felt like I was with my friends. Everyone is so nice. I just moved here from Texas and was worried about finding a new hairstylist. I found a great stylist and I think... a great group of friendly people throughout the salon. The owner Dan took the time to introduce himself and welcome me to Newtown! He had such positive energy, you knew he loved what he was doing. Thanks Ricci's

THROW AWAY THE COUPONS YOU GET FOR THIS PLACE. It's the only way to get you in the store. It got me and my son in and now he's got a horrible hacked off haircut, uneven everywhere you look and the owner offers no apology. Now that I've experienced this place and shared the horror story, so many people are telling me the same thing. Bad experience, had to go someplace else to get it fixed. This place supposedly offers high quality work and service. We got neither. The only thing high here are the prices. Factor in the cost to go someplace else to fix it, plus the aggravation and no coupon is worth it to chance trying this place.

I have been going to this salon for about five years now. The staff is superb and I have never had a complaint about my colors or my hair cuts. The stylists will give you a consultation before hand to offer his or her suggestions on different cuts, colors, or styles. The ofther services that are offered are wonderful and I highly recommend manicures, pedicures, waxings, or spa treatments in addition to your haircuts at the spa. Appointments for this is always a must as no walk ins are accepted. This salon is very, very, pricey but if you feel like you don't want to spend that much money, you can always make an appointment downstairs at Ricci's academy of Cosmetology where you can get your haircut and or colored for a fraction of the cost by a hairdressing student who is under the supervision of a supervisor.
