What You'll Find
After a visit to Jubilation, Pier 1 and Crate & Barrel won't seem so appealing. These gifts and home furnishings are handcrafted, not factory-produced. And it fits perfectly into the row of small shops lining Union Street. You'll find things you want for yourself as well as great gifts for friends. Quality does come at a price though; you can't get much for under $50. Jubilation carries colorfully designed Droll Pottery as well as ceramics by Boston artist Jill Rosenwald. Check out the hand-painted wooden boxes by Ilona. Awash in uniqueness, this shop sells everything from detailed picture frames, to mirrors to painted martini glasses.
Dazzling Jewels
Peek into the jewelry cases, and you'll find bracelets, necklaces and earrings, accented with semiprecious stones, pearls, beads and bangles. Jubilation is an exclusive carrier of Susan Ruppel jewelry. Be sure to pick up a pocketbook or shoe-shaped pin by Danielle Berlin.
