I personally really like Domino's pizza. Ok, some people might say it's too doughy, but I like the thick, chewy, crust. It's not gourmet pizza. It's just pizza. I think it's really good. You can pick any topping you want, and it's really cheap. I think three medium pizzas costs $15! Five dollars for a pizza, how can you go wrong. And, that pizza is good for a lunch or dinner AND snack. Yum, domino's sauce is sweet too. Plus, their hours are like 24/7 .. well not really, but they are open whenever I want pizza delivered.

this dunkin donuts is located in the heart of Newton Centre, a place of local teenagers and residents of Newton. this dunkin donuts is small with about four or five small tables. the service is usually quick, and you get what you order, no questions asked. they also have the self-serve refridgerator with juices, soda, and milk. this dunkin donuts is always very clean. even if there is a line, it moves very fast. you will not wait more than five minutes.

It seems like Murray's has been around forever, and with good reason. The staff really knows its wine. Murray's doesn't just sell whatever fell off the boat. With a reputation to maintain, Murray's takes great care to ensure that its liquid stock is as good as it gets. Murray's really can and will tell you what goes best with turkey on Thanksgiving and what with beef on the 4th of July. There are still bargains to be had and the selection of hard-to-fine beers is worth the trip, also.

This is your typical neighborhood Starbucks located in the center of town on the busy main street. I have been here quite a few times, and it is usually tidy and the workers are efficient in serving you what you'd like. There are about ten small tables, and there are the great huge ceiling to floor windows so you can people watch or car watch, rather. As usual, your drink is made fresh and the pastries are appetizing. There is also a good selection of cold bottled drinks, fruit cups, and yogurt.

Cute place. Apple, and Key Lime pies are very good. Cookies are good too. Their savory foods are terrible. Egg Pie, and meat pies were awful. Serivce is very bad. Bad system for customer service, very disorganized. Bunch of 15 year old kids with no people skills running into one another behind the counter. Manager was like 18 years old and totally brain dead. Was the only person in line and watched as it took one girl almost five minutes to put one piece of pie on a plate, and pour us a cup of coffee. She couldn't get out of her own way. Tables dirty and sticky each time I have gone. Best bet, Apple Pie....to go.

Newton doesn't have much of a bar scene, so the few good ones are finds, indeed. Tartuffo's, incorporated into the dining room of the restaurant, which serves tasty old-fashioned Italian and more modern fare, is elegant, smart, and intimate. It's not the best Italian you ever ate, but it is quite good. The ambience is lovely. You can eat at the bar counter or at a chic table. And in the grand old continental tradition, you can linger over dessert without being chased out by a bill-wagging waiter.
