My husband and I stumbled across the Tapas Lounge by accident one evening. We sat outside and enjoyed the experience. The menu offers a large variety of tapas (small portions like appetizers) that you can put together in whatever combination you'd like. The restaurant is a bit pricey and I would not recommend taking children along. Overall, it is a neat place and offers something out of the ordinary!

Plaza Azteca is all about fun. From the warm tortilla chips with homemade salsa (I prefer the spicy green salsa to the traditional tomato salsa with cilantro, but they are both great) to their inexpensive entrées, its a great place to enjoy an evening out with the family. Try the carne asada, you won't be disappointed. The atmosphere is truly Mexican. The architecture is all stucco in organic shapes and dark wood. The real cactus and decorative lit palms add to the ambiance. Plan on a wait on weekend nights.

I personally like Danny's Deli. Yes, they occasionally have a long wait, but that's because the food is good. Simple, but good. I don't mind the yelling back and forth... that seems to be typical of most authentic delis. It's a part of the atmosphere(as are the knick knacks), in my opinion. The quality of the food more than makes up for the time you spend waiting. The price can be a bit much for every day, but most people don't eat out or order take out every day. It's a great deli for the occasional semi-quick lunch or dinner.

I travel to Newport News every few months on business, and found this place by accident. I'm a real aficionado of marinara sauce -- that's the best way to judge an Italian restaurant -- and this place has a great one. Because they're Greek maybe, there's a little bit of cinnamon (not a lot) and some other spices in the sauce. It's amazing. I'm experimenting to try to make it at home. I'll keep coming back as long as business brings me to town.

They have very good, thick shakes. The prices are reasonable and the staff very quick to get you refills on drinks.

I have recently been to the Manchester Grill at Kiln Creek Golf Club and Resort and it was a great dining expereince. The Service was great and the staff were very friendly and personable. The food came out in a timely matter and was delicious. I could tell that have revamped the Manchester Grille and when I inquired about my observation the server confirmed. The owners just recently added new carpet, tile flooring, televisions and other decor. It still give it a golf feel but you also feel like you are in a clean dining area. I would definately reccommend everyone to try out the New and Improved Manchester Grill!
Pros: Fast Service and Great Food
