i ate here with a group of friends on a Sunday at 1230pm. While we sat promptly, the service only deteriorated from there. we had to get up and ask our waitress multiple times for help. 30 minuets after ordering our food was still not ready, yet the restaurant was not full. when we did finally receive our food, 3 people in my group who ordered eggs were served them RAW--myself included, to which of course we had to send them back. one person's recooked eggs came after everyone was already done eating. to add insult to injury i became violent ill after leaving the restaurant. when i called to inform them of the sickness i likely received from being a recipient of the raw eggs, the owner/manager did not return phone call and waitress was less than accommodating.
Pros: if you like your eggs raw you will love sabatinos
Cons: horrible service, raw eggs, violently ill after eating here

So here's where the Real Italians eat, you know, Tony, Frank, Deano....of course they blindfold you before you go so you won't tell all your friends. The food here is the star, and sit outside on the patio for best ambiance. The sausage is to die for...(sorry, just a saying) The pastas are first rate, and the service is old school professional. Good wine list and the deserts.....take the cannoli, leave the gun! Great for intimate dates or big family celebrations. Just don't tell anyone about this place or you might get whacked! It's our little secret.
Pros: Food, service, ambiance
Cons: hard to find

When we sat down the 2nd waiter presented us with meuns and asked what we would like to drink. Service was perfect. I was dissappointed with the ceaser salad, skimpy lacking pazzi, but they did bring us several anchovies on a separate dish. The main course was taking longer than they wanted, but find for us. The brought us complimentary a cup of their wedding soup and it was deliciate. Main course was excellent and very generous portions. The bell pepper was stuffed with their well know sausages.
Pros: Stuffed bell pepper and lasagna
Cons: ceasar salad

Service was horrendous. Management was rude and unaccomodating. We waited 1 hr 45min for a table, WITH a reservation! Then we had further disrepancy with our bill. Our meals were mediocre. This is the first negative review I've ever written, but as a former waitress, I was severely disappointed in our dining experience.
Pros: ambience
Cons: service, food, management

I had one of the worst restaurant experiences of my life last night at Sabatinos. Even though we had a reservation, our group had to wait 1.5 hours for a table. The food took over 2 hours to arrive. When the bill arrived, we were surprised to see the 'complimentary' wine and appetizers (given to us while we waited) included in the charge. When we argued the additional charges, the 'manager' (who also doubles as a miserable singer on the patio) told us we were liars and told us not to come back if we didn't like their attitude.
Needless to say, I will be taking his advice.
Visit at your own peril....this place is a disaster.
Pros: none
Cons: over priced, miserable service, mediocre food...everything

I come from New York and I have to tell you that Sabatino's is the greatest! The place has great food, and great ambience and did I say great food. The Sausage The Pizza The Pasta, Oso Buca, Stuffed Peppers and if that's not enough The Best Cheese Cake and Tira Misu in all of California. It's the best kept secret in Southern Cal. To top off the good food, they have a guy there that sings his heart out for you and guess what he's great. Go and treat yourself to a great dinning experience.

This place has ridiculously good food. Not for wimps and those who say "I don't like seafood" or "I don't like garlic very much". Boo hoo tasteless rejects. Try the clam steamer appetizer with fresh clams, chunks of fresh garlic and herbs, steamed in beer. For main dishes, any of their seafood pastas is recommended. They also make their own sausage and I recommend that as well for an appetizer. Hidden jewel near a residential neighborhood and parked boats.
Pros: Appetizers, Pasta dishes, By the ocean
