We made a reservation for 11ppl when arrived they had no reservation. Food was ordered and only half of the order was made, guests had to wait for the other half. My wife's chicken was spoiled and the waiter agreed after I made him smell it. Beef was tough, sushi was not fresh. They forgot again my second request. We ordered desert for my daughter's birthday, we had to wait 15 min for spoon and forks. The manager felt bad and did not charge us for desert and bottle of wine. I still left 20% tip on the final balance and letter when I checked my credit card I noticed additional tip was added. I am now disputing the charges. Never again I would visit this poor service, poor food and unprof. place. Pros: Worst Service and food in town Cons: Can't get any worst than this

After reading all the great reviews about how good the food was and how it was one of the top "romantic" spots in OC, I made a reservation for myself and my fiancé for Valentine's Day. I was excited about the Kobe after seeing it on the online menu, however, after we arrived we were informed that they "revamped" the menu and no longer offered it. The resulting menu is nothing to write home about, and the execution was even worse. My filet mignon was over-seared and very tough/burnt on the outside. Vegetables were eh, and potatoes were ok. My fiance's seared ahi was very fishy and overpowered by the pepper. The service was atrocious as well. Not only did they greet us very gruffly and shuttle us like cattle to our little table, my water was refilled once during an hour and a half meal, and I had to call after the waitress to get her to come back so I could order my desert after my fiancé had ordered hers. The atmosphere is the only saving grace with the gorgeous setting and decor. The music was way too loud and inappropriate for Valentine's Day - hardly romantic. Seems they got a bit too big for their britches after the last year of growth and accolades and forgot to actually care about their product and customers. Pros: Location, Atmosphere, Drinks Cons: Food, Service, Loud Music

I brought a first date to Ten Waterfront upon a recommendation from a friend. Since that first date, we have been back three more times. The food is amazing. The filet mignon wonton appetizer is our favorite and the Japanese Kobe is the best steak I have ever had. Its so tender you can be cut with a fork. As for the views, there is nothing better than watching the boats come and go across a sunset back drop. I have eaten everywhere on the peninsula over the past 10 years, and this now officially my favorite of all-time. Pros: The Food and Views
