It's a special treat to be able to get ice cream from Gelato Paradiso. I think I stumbled on this place through my husband (who works in the area) and every time I'm in the area I make it a point to stop by and pamper myself with their delicate, flavorful dessert. You can mix & match flavors (3-4 in a cup) and they allow you to sample flavors in order to help you choose between selection of ice creams and sorbets. A small cup always satisfies my palette perfectly, but maybe that's because I'm worried about having "too much of a good thing". Make this place a part of your night out!
As a note, this location offers extremely limited seating. Most customers linger outdoors when the weather's nice (that's why we love Southern California!).

Laventinas Pizza is sooooooooo good, and it is very inexpensive. They have a wide variety of toppings and pizza is always hot from the oven. Although the slices are small, the delicious taste definitely makes up for it. The best pizza in Newport.

Great place to get mexican food made to order, the way you like it. The food is fresh, nothing pre-packaged. You can order it mild or hot. It is addictive, once you try it your will come back for more. The menu is extensive and the food is authentic. More locations are openning by the month. Protions are large and the price is reasonable

I had a great time with my wife for our romantic dinner. They had a great view for us by the window, facing the sunset of the ocean. We had a some great wine from their list and the food was spectacular. I would highly recommend Re Nato Ristorante.

You know these guys from Taco Mesa as this is one of their upper scale restaurants. Food quality is excellent as you would expect, most of the original favorites are available here. Kids love the chocolate fountain, adults love the great selection of Margaritas!
Highly recommend the Arizona burrito and either the Raspberry or Tamarind Margarita.

Ok, ive gone her 4 times the past 2 weeks. Taken one of my best buddies, my GF 2xs, and the family once.....and THEY ALL LOVED IT.
For Starters, the seared ahi, mushrooms, home made veggie soup, and dipping bread are perfect ways to start the night
For entrees, the Meatloaf (yes, meatloaf) is incredible, the baseball cut ahi is awesome, the filet is just about as lean and tasty as you can get for under $35, and the ciopinno is light but filled with fish.
The wine list is the only soft spot, but i typically bring my own bottle anyways.
Will be going to this place for as long as im within 100 miles :)

Garlic Jo's is delicious! But you should really like garlic if you plan on going. I've had pasta, steak, lots of the appetizers, and they've all been wonderful. There's an excellent for two menu, it's a great place to take a date... please take a mint as you're leaving though.

This is one of my favorite restaurants. They have old world type decor and you can even sit in an old railroad train car. All meals come with ice tea, salad and icecream - yummy!!! You have to try the mazithra cheese option - wonderful salty/ buttery taste like no other - turns spaghetti into another meal - the BEST!!! Gets very busy on the weekends.
