A place to Run from 10/2/2017

Worst place ever in regards to patient care.Alot of nurses with attitudes that carry personal drama to work.Nurses with no hospice experience.Lack of management that carries professionalism.Director of nursing seems to be a delegator instead of handling patient complaints.Staff is lazy.Pay attention to medications because the nurses including charge nurses will screw up on dosage. more

Dying with Dignity 5/30/2012

My husband, Lawrence, was admitted to Canon Inpatient Hospice in March of 2012 in end stage dementia. He had been moved multiple times in the past year due to his declining state. I can honestly say that our family felt that Canon Hospice was a God send to us. The staff were so very caring to both Larry and our family. They checked on him frequently and always made sure he was clean and groomed everyday. Toward the end, my sister in law and I were at his bedside and we were so touched by the staff that were there to support us and guide us through this process. We will never forget your kindess and your love- you are definitely in the right profession. It takes very special people to do what you do. more

Hospice Care 7/26/2005

My Aunt found out she had Cancer in the beginning of April. The second week we brought her to the hospital and then the doctor called Cannon Hospice and got them involved in the care of my Aunt. My Aunt loved the care she received from the nurses aids and the nurses. They are very friendly, attentive to the patients as well as the families. The hospital is very clean and they clean the rooms and patients everyday. The night my Aunt died, I went to get my daughter and sister in law from the family room and I was crying and one of the Aids caught me and gave me the biggest hug and helped me get to the family room. This was the best facility for my aunt. They gave her everything she needed at home as well as in the hospital. Medicare paid for the service so I have no idea of the cost involved. Thank you all for the help and friendship. Marion Ferguson's Niece. Sandra more
