We really recomended that place for everybody! Very clean place,very cozy,best service! Very relaxing,perfect location ,very good restaurants around! Take you kids to the Saffari trip ( ten minites drive ) You will enjoy!!! more

Marvelous! 8/11/2011

We were in Garlands Guest House for a wedding. Stayed at this place because it was on the bridal web site. Found it to be a nice, quaint place. We rented a 2 room suite that slept 6. Only one bedroom other sleeping was in the living room but great for a family. Room had a kitchen and we found that they provided us fruit which was a nice surprise. The rate for this area was very reasonable. And my most important feature it was very clean!! more

Absolutely superb! 8/11/2011

My fiance took me here for my birthday, and it was a wonderful weekend. We stayed in a room with a mineral hot tub, and took 2 baths a day. I am not a big fan of the sulfur smell, so scents were provided to ease that. Even without the scents, the in-room baths are amazing. The cottages are steps away from mud baths and massages, and the walk to downtown New Orleans, LA is just lovely. The Garlands Guest House are a perfect match for the great dining in the area. I was so rejuvenated after that weekend that going back to the daily grind didn`t seem so bad, but honestly, we could have stayed indefinitely. more

What a hidden gem . . . the Garlands Guest House were just what we needed, for an awesome price! The cottages are not fancy and a bit outdated, but quaint and what you`d expect when you rent a cottage "up north". For a very reasonable price, we received a private cottage in a perfect location with a full kitchen and bath, a wonderful mineral spring fed pool and hot tub, and friendly owners who were willing to share their knowledge of the area on anything from wine tastings to restaurants to spas. more
