If you are like us, when you go to the theater, you gotta have popcorn. Carmike in Newnan has the *best* theater popcorn, made the old-fashioned way. Other than that, the theater is above average - nothing special, but there's nothing wrong with it either. Very comfortable and enjoyable.

Dunaway Gardens is a beautiful place to visit. My brother in law had his wedding there, and it was gorgeous. They stood by a waterfall, and it was a beautiful backdrop. There are many ponds of water, and a rose garden. This place used to be under a bunch of weeds, but it was purchased by a local man and woman who have dedicated there time to making it a great place to visit. There are gazebos, rock gardens, and plenty of greenery that you could spend a whole day here.

Each week the manager selects regular adult-oriented features to designate as Movie Moms Club shows. The theatre house lights are brought up a little higher and the sound will be turned down as not to bother those little ears.
These shows welcome crying! Diaper changes! Breastfeeding! Sleeping! Talking! So, can't find a sitter? No problem, check out Consolidated Theatres' Movie Moms Club.

Uncle Bob's is alot of fun for kids. It is a great place to take elementary schools kids on fields trips. They have alot of fun activities; great hayride and petting zoo. Last year it was about $7.00 per person to get in, that includes all of the activities. I believe that they have a discounted rate for field trip groups - but you have to call in advance to make reservations. The kids will have a ball.
But, be warned. If you plan to buy your pumpkin there, you better be prepared to shell out big bucks for it. We just go there for the activities and then buy our pumpkins at Walmart or someplace like that.

The couple that owns this place are really like second parents. They always recognize you and are wonderful people. Their hamburgers are out of this world. SO yes, there is a "snack bar" but its really more than that. Its a small restaurant. Their are lots of things for kids to do but we mostly use the batting cages. If your a coach a proud parent or with the cub scouts, etc. this is a great place to bring the gang. They also do birthday parties. A real fun time for the kids!

Skate Palace is a great place for you and you kids of all ages. It is a safe envoriment and they have arcade games, air hockey and even lazer tag. You earn tickets for the games you play and can cash them in for candy and fun little prizes They even have a skate store inside where you can by skates for youslef or your children. They have a nice little snack bar area whth tables and chairs. The food isn't bad either. They have chips and coke or nachos and pop corn. You can even book your childs birthday party as well. They offer pizza or hotdogs and they will even supply you with a cake if needed.

The Plantation's Carriage House has two master suites each with garden tub Jacuzzis and furnished with antiques. The two bedroom restored Cottage is located further from the main building and offers comfort and privacy. The bed and breakfast is a non-smoking environment. The plantation is a private gated property to ensure the utmost in privacy and security. The Oak Grove Plantation Nursery specializes in old fashioned flowers and shrubs found in grandmother's garden. We mostly deal in wholesale trade, but we do take orders or sell bare root when available. Our Antique Shop, "My Favorite Things," is located close-by in Palmetto. This place is absolutely beautiful! At Michaels I always receive professional service when getting professional framing or custom floral arrangements. I have really enjoyed working with them in choosing arrangements for Church, School or other functions. The also have a wide variety of crafts projects, supplies and a whole range of scrapbooking supplies. I highly reccomend them over other so called craft stores whom carry only a small amount of these products.
