By far the best tasting, freshest Sushi in the area.... especially the Toro if you are a fan. They have a lunch special that is very reasonable. Great service and great prices.

As an ex-pat Manhattanite who's generally been disappointed by Connecticut's sushi offerings, I was very pleased to happen upon Yokohama. The fish is fresh, of good quality, and the friendly chefs excel at conjuring up tasty, unusual, and artfully presented specials. The strip-mall setting is a bit bleak, but the interior of Yokahama itself is clean, bright, and perfectly adequate. The clientele includes many families and, unfortunately, many parents are indifferent to their children's poor behavior.

Yokohama offers great sushi in a comforting and clean enviroment. At the bar you can even watch the sushi masters prepare your sushi. Tip: Try the special sushi of the day, it is always amazing.
