I ordered and payed for my prom dress - however after 2 weeks of continually being told it would be shipped it did not arrive. I went to pick up the dress twice and was told it still had not arrived but 'guaranteed' it would be here soon. What is worse - is that they never had the courtesy to call me back - I had to continually chase them. They had a bad attitude and no one knew what was going on. I am originally from London and have never experienced anything like this. One would expect a far superior service when buying a $500 dress. This store has got to be the worst I have ever experienced.

Seychelles is the place to go for a fancy dress for a special occasion . . . if money is no object!! They do have some very beautiful dresses, but there are high price tags attached. The staff is okay -- sometimes they can be a little snotty and upity. This is definately an upscale store -- although it is conveniently located to Yale University in New Haven, I know very few students who can actually afford to shop here!! It's a wonderful place to window shop, though -- and they do occasionally have sales.

If you need a fancy dress for a special occasion -- this is the place to go. It's a small shop with a nice selection of dresses for it's size. The dresses are upscale and so are the prices. I've window shopped in here many times and have seen tons of dresses that l love -- but they are all out of my price range. They do occasionally have sales. The staff is hit or miss -- sometimes they are helpful, sometimes not. If you want something a step above the department stores -- this is the place to go for that special dress.
