If you like Ethiopean food, Lalibela is an easy sell. If you've never tried it, you owe it to yourself to make Lalibela your first experience with Ethiopean food. Full of spices (but not too hot), Lalibela's lunch buffet is a perfect introduction to the cuisine. You'll get to try the lentils and other legumes, the collard greens, the carrots and green beans, a few meat dishes (if that's your thing), and their cold offerings - a beet salad and a tomato and pepper salad. The service is not the best, but the food is tasty and satisfying, and no one will ever pressure you to leave before you're ready. A great place for a lingering dinner, or lunch with a friend you haven't seen in a while - or anytime you're craving a good meal.
