The doctors that work here at Saint Raphael's are some of the greatest. They take care of you like you are part of their family here. The Hospital is always clean and the staff is friendly. It is sometimes hard to get an appointment depending on what you are trying to get in for.

I went there last year to get an eye test. They were nice ,I got the tinted lenses but dont wear contacts. Just for looks.I got a great price.My insurance doest cover them.they look great. Happy with the services and will go there again this spring.

I went to Levy Dental for a dental whitening procedure, and wasn't sure what to expect. I do not like dentists in general, but Dr.Levy and his staff make you feel right at home, and very at ease. I love the office, which is very bright and welcoming. While going through the 2 hour + procedure, I was always being monitored by Dr. Levy's staff, making sure that I was comfortable. They also had a small dvd monitor attached to the seat so that I could watch videos while sitting in the chair for long periods of time. It made a long process go by a lot quicker!

I went to see Dr. Duleba for surgery in 2000 and he was kind, warm, professional and very willing to patiently explain many things. He is the best doctor and is highly qualified in many things. All of the staff and nurses are wonderful and very caring. This practice is highly recommended!

With New Haven comes the hustle-and-bustle of a large city. Yale Hospital is no different.
Granted, they are at the cutting edge of technology. They seem to have a great staff of knowledgable Doctors and Physicians. However, you won't get too much of a personalized treatment here.
The hospital is large and confusing and although accomodating, it's overwhelming. The staff is pleasant, but you can tell they are overworked. Having to visit the hospital several times, staff hasn't always been receptive towards me asking for directions or being pleasant.
Bottom line is that it's a great health care facility. It's not a smaller "hospital" but a large "business" being run, not to make friends.
Parking is ample, but very scattered throughout the complex. It's very difficult to navigate between their buildings.

Dr. Willett is an awesome ear nose & throat doctor! He treated me a few years ago for serious sinus problems I'd been having. Turned out that I had a cyst and needed sinus surgery. Dr. Willett performed the surgery, and boy did I recover FAST. He didn't need to pack my nose as most doctors do, he tries not to have to do that. I didn't even bleed very long after wards, maybe an hour or so! He has a great bedside manner, and I have also taken my son to him for hearing tests, and my son liked him as well. He is highly recommended by me!

If you are in the position of needing a cardiologist, I strongly recommend this practice. It is actually a group made up of three surgeons and seven physicians, all of which are very capable, qualified and courteous. The practice has four main locations in New Haven, Hamden, Branford and Southington to make travel time as short as possible.

Once I had this crazy rash on my face that was getting near my eye and then on my throat. I had no history of fast spreading rashes and didn't know what to do. This office got me an appointment the next day, and I thought he would give me a steriod topical cream or something, but explained an old remedy that would work just as well without having to take steriods to get rid of the rash. I left the office thinking that it would never work, but applied the compress soaked in the solution recipe he gave me, and the rash improved after the first application, and was gone before the 24 hours he said it would take. I appreciate a doctor who does not have his patients take drugs with side affects for no good reason, and it took care of my problem immediately. My friend also sees him for cystic acne that is very painful, and says he is the only doctor who has been able to keep it under control.

This dental group is definitely child centered. The waiting room has a television with children's programing, a lego table and many toys. The hygentist is very creative and gentle with the children. She even tells the children that she cleans their favorite character's teeth and makes it seem safe and comfortable for the child. The only negative is that there is usually a long wait to get an appointment.

Dr. Tross is a very friendly doctor. Although he specializes in cosmetic surgery, he also handles extremity injuries (hand, arm, etc.)
Dr. Tross is a very thorough Doctor. He isn't concerned with just getting you in and out like you may find elsewhere. He takes the time to look at your x-ray's, and provide the care, treatment and service that you need.
Dr. Tross follows up on a regular basis and likes to see that you've made progress and recovery. He isn't afraid to try new techniques or get a patient's feedback on how well the treatment has progressed.
He offers several offices throughout the area for ease of patient comfort.
Parking in New Haven is hard, but they do have a parking garage (not free) that can be used.
