Here's a great restaurant in New Haven that has great food that is cheap, fast, hot and tummy filling. I was a bit skeptical of this place as it took over the space that once was the best coffee shop in NH, the Daily Grind. But once I was coaxed inside I found a delicious noodle shop with tons of veggie, meat and seafood options to satisfy the biggest of appetites. Definitely try the noodle soup and not the usual Chinese fare. The Curry Shrimp Noodle with wide noodles is my usual choice. The shrimp are fresh and super big and the noodles are big enough to cut with a spoon as to not slurp the noodle all over yourself.

Great place if you want to grab a quick bite. They have a wide variety of delicious noodle dishes, something for everyone. It'll likely take you longer to decide what you want than it'll take for them to make it for you and bring it out. As a bonus, they have that yummy tea with tapioca pearls at the bottom. It's pretty rare to see that in New Haven.
