WORST FLOWER SHOP ON THE PLANET 12/6/2019

would give Zero stars if possible. Paid $96 for a luxury Christmas bouquet and actually got a dinky PEACH bouquet. Customer service would not make it right other than to offer me 10% off my next order. THIS IS A SCAM!! This company should be out of business!! I am so mad! more

If they had negative stars, I would have given them a -10. This web site is a scam. Do not use them .I paid 110.00 for an arrangement. AF sent $80.00 to the local florist for an arrangement that looked like it could have been purchased at Walmart for $10.00. The email the provided to send pictures and file a complaint, bounced back. Terrible Arrangement 10/7/2019

I ordered premium standing spray of purple roses and white lilies and mums. The man who took my order on the phone ASSURED me they had purple roses and the spray would be very large. My daughter attended the funeral, took a picture of my flowers and sent it to me. The arrangement DID NOT have one purple rose or purple flower. It was all white. I called the florist and Marla read me the entire order. There were no instructions on which flowers to use. She said the designer would call me back. I asked for the name of the man who took my order on the phone. She said they were not allowed to do that. DO NOT USE THIS FLORIST. more

Forget Avas and find a true local florist 9/14/2019

I ordered flowers to send to my Sister in Law who had been injured in a car accident and was in a hospital in Wyoming. I placed the order on 9-12-19 and missed the cutoff time for same day delivery by 5 minutes. The order said it would be delivered either that day or the next day. The next day I had a phone call from an unfamiliar number which I did not answer, no message was left. I received a call on 9-14-19 where I was told they could not deliver until 9-17. I told them to go ahead and after hanging up I changed my mind and tried to call them. I was told to go to their website. I had been there before and it was of no value. I tried again and went to the cancel link and was told to call them because it couldn't perform the function. I called them again and finally got a customer (no) service representative who told me he couldn't authorize the refund because UPS had the order (why couldn't they deliver for 5 days?). He tried to talk to a supervisor who was occupied and said the supervisor would call me later that day or the next day about authorizing a refund. I located a local florist who delivered the flowers within 4 hours. I should have gone there the first day instead of waiting two days. more

delivery delay 7/5/2019

I ordered flower delivery with specific instruction( morning delivery) since my friend was being discharged from hospital in afternoon. When I called the agent from this company , the agent assured me that the flower will be delivered by noon. My friend already discharged from hospital before flower was delivered. The customer service said they can refund me partially. What a waste of money and time. If the agent told me he cannot guarantee for morning delivery, I would've not placed the order. more

Junk Website 5/11/2019

Customer service reps could be heard cursing in the background. Tried correcting an order that was supposed to go to a different address using their site, the correction did not go through. Flowers were delivered to incorrect site. Would not refund. First customer service rep hung up on me. Second was flippant and you could tell he didn't care. Said delivered, but was not. Showed at the incorrect address a day late. No refund. more

DO NOT waste your money! 5/2/2019

I tried to place an online for an orchid to be delivered to a funeral. The website froze up on me and I had to call their customer service number. I should have just went to the local grocery store and purchased something there. Long story short, the guy told me he would give me a better price than I could get online. Needless to say, he didn’t. They actually charged me an additional $18.93 more and I’m unsure what that “service charge” was for. I can tell you that it wasn’t for their outstanding service! He couldn’t understand English and the sympathy card that I paid an addition $4 for was wrong. I paid for an orchid. They called me twenty minutes later and told me that I couldn’t get an orchid but reassured me that they would deliver something just as beautiful. What they sent was a green rubber tree looking thing for the same price as an orchid! I could have gone to the grocery store and paid $15 for that, the note/card would have been free and my name would have actually been on the card but I chose to trust this company. I paid $85 and didn't even get my name listed on the sympathy card. I am so horribly disgusted and disappointed with this company and the service that I received. I would NOT recommend that anyone use this ever. You will not get what you pay for! more

HORRIBLE/BEWARE!! 4/28/2019

I ordered an arrangement called Bright Sunlight listed on Avas' website. All yellow, green and white flowers in a pretty yellow vase. What was sent was a cheap, ugly arrangement a 5 year old could of done better, in a cheap clear vase and red flowers!! I was very specific on the arrangement chosen because of the Oregon Ducks, "Green & Yellow". Upon reporting to Avas their horrendous mistake, this is their response: "Thank you for reaching out to us. We regret any inconvenience regarding your order. Upon reviewing the arrangement that you ordered and confirming with the designer, we have determined that the flowers sent are within the recipe and guidelines that the bouquet called for, in the size that you ordered. If any minor substitutions were made, they fall within our Substitution Policy guidelines. Therefore, your order meets the product description." I have already started the procedure to Stop Pay. I am NOT paying $70 for GARBAGE!! more

Rip Off 3/30/2019

I received flowers called Lavender Fields from them. They came in 24 hours. The flowers were in no water. It said to use flower food to put in water but there was none. The buds were droopy and basically dead. more

Buyer beware 3/29/2019

They do not honor their word, their product was wilted, the water green and they would not even consider a refund or partial refund. They promised by 5 and it was delivered at 6 after she left. These folks are horrendous with a " I don't care" attitude. Customer service and customer care is not in the creed. Use another company more

DO NOT BUY FROM HERE 11/21/2018

I have not personally purchased through Ava's flowers, however my best friend's boyfriend was having flowers sent to her from this company and she has yet to receive any flower arrangement. The company stated the flowers were delivered, They never were and Ava's flowers made ZERO attempt to contact the buyer regarding so. Several call attempts had been made to get the money refunded and it is still ongoing. the customer service from this flower company is NONEXISTENT and they do not hold themselves accountable for their mistakes. Their service is absolutely unacceptable. I would not recommend them to anyone ever.If putting ZERO stars would be an option, I would have. more

I know better than to order without checking reviews - but didn't this time! Avas Flowers is NOT local - they are a call center. They advertise a huge discount, and then add handling charges AFTER you have placed the order - nearly $20! I tried to change the delivery of a fruit basket because the people are out of town for nearly a week! They couldn't do it even though the delivery wouldn't be for over 6 more hours. DO NOT USE THEM. Their "discounts" are a scam!!! more

Poor Quality 9/18/2018

My mother received the flowers-24 Farm Fresh Roses- I ordered for her from Avas for her birthday. They were limp when they arrived, but fresh water helped that problem somewhat. There were only four roses that looked fresh, the rest were in various stages of decay, with brown edges, brown spots and dropping petals. It was a poor display, especially sitting next to a beautiful bouquet that my brother had gotten from another floral delivery service. I was so glad that I got her some other nice gifts, because I was very embarrassed by those sad roses. I could've gone to any supermarket and bought better looking flowers from a bin and paid less, too! I won't be purchasing from this company again. more

absolutely horrible 7/13/2018

After getting screwed by ... calling me the day of my mother's birthday to say they couldn't deliver my mother in-law's flowers at the agreed upon time, we spoke with Becky from Avas Flowers in Conway SC. we informed her of our issues, and she double checked with the driver to see if it was possible to deliver. she came back and said they could accommodate us. So we paid the $81 for the small arrangement. the next day, my mother in-law still had no flowers. so we called to express our disappointment. we spoke with the "manager" Allen, who attempted to skirt around a full refund for our dissatisfaction by offering store credit with a $20 bonus added to it. then when we declined, became rude with us on the phone saying "he knew what he needed to do, and didn't need us to tell him what to do" based on the refund we wanted. i will NEVER use them again EVER... this was a first and only time experience with this company. this experience concluded with being informed that our refund may take up to 10 days!?!?! we are VERY unsatisfied with the level of service with this company. if i were you, i would find another florist in that area. more

poor service 7/4/2018

I ordered flowers in the morning a day ahead of when I wanted them delivered for a relative's birthday.... they state they have same say delivery service. I am told They are not delivering until two days after her birthday. They offer $10.00 off my next delivery. I inform them I will NOT be using this company ever again. and they do not even address the issue of a refund. Poor communications. Poor service. more

Classic bait and switch company. I ordered a beautiful bouquet for my friend for her birthday. Upgraded the bouquet to make it fuller with more flowers. She sent me a picture of what she received thanking me. I was so angry that I had spent so much money and her bouquet was skimpy and missing at least 3 different types of flowers that were supposed to be in there. When I contacted them, they referenced their substitution policy. Basically, their substitution policy means they take your money, put what they want in it and then argue with you about it. I will NEVER do business with Ava's again. I send A LOT of flowers using different florists and have never had something like this happen. Shame on you Ava's. People need to shop elsewhere if you want what you pay for. more

Local Florist texted flowers were delivered, but they were not. 5/26/2018

Very sad to say I have used Ava's flowers in the past with much success, however, this time the local florist Ava's used to deliver birthday flowers for my sister really dropped the ball. Received text on day of delivery that flowers were delivered when in fact they were not. Local florist did not go the extra mile to wait at gated community to get in to deliver flowers or try to reach my sister by phone, or leave a message or try to contact me. In fact, local florist lied that they left my sister a message about attempted delivery. By the time I called my sister, Ava's was closed, and had to wait until next day to contact Ava's and apologize to sister. Attempting redelivery, but very unhappy with customer service on this order and will not order again. Also not happy about receiving store credit instead of a credit back to credit card. more

5 days (and counting) late. 3/21/2018

i paid for expedited shipping so flowers would be at a certain event. they not only didn't arrive on time, they also did not arrive yet! it's been 5 days, over 120 hours since they were supposed to arrive. To this day, they tell me they have trouble contacting their deliveryman who, clearly needs access to a phone, or radio or something. The man cannot be reached all day. He gives no updates of where he may or may not be, does not call the recipient or the sender and even Avas flowers can't seem to track him down. I'm somewhat concerned he may have stolen the flower truck and we'll never see or hear from him again when i call i get to stay on hold for anywhere from 10min to 40min , and in the end. nothing seems to happen except another promise that the flowers will be delivered, today, or tomorrow at the latest. I've received 3 such promises thus far, still haven't received any flowers though. honestly. the service is terrible. just atrocious. I don't understand how their hold message (which i've heard many times on a loop by now) claims they are a highly rated company. clearly they aren't more
