This museum was the target of many field trips in school, especially in history class. It really is a beautiful and peaceful place to browse and walk through though. Not as big as say, the Metropolitan, but still with lots of quality artwork and displays. Their hours are flexible, and it's right in downtown New Brunswick. Often, they would bring in exhibits of special artwork on loan from bigger museums. Defintiely worth a visit if you haven't been there yet.

this museum has lots of good stuff. the photorealism exhibits were so good. everything was like photoquality. i was quite amazed. but i think they change it every once in a while cause they make room for other exhibits. i am not sure what is there right now. it is a nice little museum though. i have been here many times cause i go to rutgers.

This is a great unique kind of a museum, and great for a Saturday afternoon if you need an activity. They have different exhibits every semester, so check out what they're showing because it may not appeal to you, but in general it's a great inexpensive way to experience culture in central New Jersey. They also have a cute little cafe, ideal for students.
