I've always been partial to Kmart and I am glad that our location here is
staying open!!! I find so many fantastic deals here. I remember one summer
getting the cutest jean shorts shorts for 50 cents a piece. They were regularly
$12.99 each. Sure it was the end of the season but I've never seen blue jeans
go out of style yet. This location is large with even a bigger parking area.
Right near 23 Mile road and Gratiot. My personal opinion is that I would
rather shop here than Target.

I love the family dollar. Don't confuse with other dollar stores because their items are priced reasonably but many items are more than a dollar. During the holiday season they carry name brand toys (like barbie; mattel, spongebob and ext) which
makes it so much easier for those with a lot of children to buy for. My spouse and I have 8 grandchildren so it doesn't break us!!! I am the only person that I know that can drop $100. each time I go to the family dollar. I literally have a picnic in this store. I stock up on scented candles, cat foods, towels and goodies like cheese nips for the hubby. We both love to go each week.

Want a great deal? Hands down Go to Walmart!!! Easy to get to. Hop on I-94N
and get off at 21 Mile road. Turn right to Gratiot and enter the hugh parking lot on the right. Walmart has actually gone below cost on some of their major items
just to get the consumer in the door. This is when to get in on the prize. Be careful tho'....like so many other stores they may have some great Ad pieces but
a lot of times the other items in the store will skyrocket to cover the cost. So
just be careful. This Walmart is kept clean even though it is super big. They
are located right on the corner of 21 Mile and Gratiot. Can't Miss it!!!

I go here every single day that I work and they have made so many wonderful updates to this location. They have added a PHARMACY (Yes!) and a Starbucks
Coffee area, a pizza hut lunch spot and they have a line of groceries. What amazes me is that Target has there own brand name food items and the prices are fantastic as well as the food is delicious!!! They also carry some very attractive furniture at some wonderful prices.

Kohl's reminds me of Penneys although they are priced higher. The good news is
that they always, always have sales. Every single day they have super sales and
that is the prime time to buy from them. Their ladies outfits are so adorable and they carry a nice line of business suits. I am into decorating the house in Americana and they carry tons of items on that theme. It's refreshing to walk into
this sparkling clean store. My only pet peeve is that the lines are always crowded
to cash out. That shows you how good their sales are. Hugh parking lot with
lots of lights.

I have gone in here a couple of times and the clothes are just not my type-
these are more sporting clothes like polo's and jogging suits. The prices
were high because they are all brand name items. It was no great loss to me
however because I couldn't find anything that I particularly wanted.

I've been at the new Pier 1 just north of 23 Mile Road and on the west side
of Gratiot; unfortunately I'm not blown away by their items. They are too modern, or too exotic or too far out for me. They have great sale prices but
I couldn't find one thing that I really was interested in buying. I guess thats why all of us have unique tastes.
