Carriage Way

Tooo many feral cats,constant speeding loud trucks. No snow removal overgrowth everyware. Last years flowers were never pulled out. This is a Haven Park owned park. Not FAMILY owned any more.Office is clueless, this is nothing more than a money grab. Raise rents , do no maintenance, heck they do not even a maintenance crew. When you try to sell it will never happen.If you buy new you will never be able to sell it more

This place is horrible. The people that run the park take advantage of the people that live here. They plow snow right on top of vehicles. They charge 415 a month for a tiny piece of land that you cant do anything with unless you want to get bitched at. The maintenance people are assholes to everyone. Kids run around without supervision and play chicken with traffic. I would not recommend this place to even my worst enemy more

We've been here 4 years and I hate it here. The park people are not kind and take every opportunity to take advantage of u. Last month a swat team surrounded my neighbors house (guns drawn). Nice. Last year there was a murder down the street. Don't move here unless u are ghetto white trash, then you'll fit right in. :) more

Okay, so I've been living here in Carriage Way park with my family for about 7 years. At first, it was pretty good we had nice neighbors, and then things got worse. The park doesn't take care of ANYTHING here. Yeah, it looks good by the club house/office and the entry to the park, but that is it! There are kids that run around screaming at the top of their lungs in the Spring/Summer time which makes us have to keep our windows closed because the kids don't stop (even when you politely tell them to stop). Some people don't keep their dogs on a leash, so they end up roaming other peoples yards.Some people let the garbage pile up in their yard and don't take it out on garbage day. The stray cats in here get a hold of the garbage and tear it up. DO NOT bother going up to the office to complain about anything, they will ask you to file a complaint and they don't do ANYTHING about it (doesn't matter how many neighbors complain either). Their rules in here are a joke, they NEVER reinforce them. What's the point of even having them? Some of the mailboxes are busted open. There is supposed to be NO soliciting in here and people do it often. There's someone that drives around in here selling meat (hamburger,steak,chicken,etc) out of their truck! They have been doing it for years and the park hasn't stopped them. In the Winter time they don't even bother plowing the streets until it's DONE snowing. The kids in here use vacant lots as a playground/sand box. There are pipes sticking out of the ground, but the parent's don't care. If you drive around in here, you will see that many homes are for sale and some houses have been taken out, just goes to show people hate it here. I just am trying to move out of here with my family, I can't stand living here anymore. There is no peace and quiet. By the way, it's March 11th and someone in here still has pumpkins from Halloween out in front of their house, they are rotted now. I didn't know it was that difficult to throw something away. I would add more if I could. more

This is a huge mobil home park with very old homes and some new. It is right off 24 mile road between gratiot and the expressway. Because there is such an assortment of homes the prices vary. One nice thing here is that there are plenty of children so if you have little ones, you might keep that in mind. more
