Cannon's has had the ability to claim a great reputation among the bakery industry in northern Delaware for many years. The wedding cakes made by Cannon's are simply extraordinary and always a pleasure to see and taste. Placing an order for a custom cake is an interesting endeavor and always enjoyable, as the owners and staff are quite pleasant to deal with.

This Brew-Haha coffee shop is located in a prime spot for students attending the University of Delaware. If you're a local, the college vibe in this cafe might detract from the atmosphere, but they serve up delicious coffee drinks, including a milky way latte/mocha that is just fantastic. The sandwiches are a bit expensive, but they are all made-to-order and quite tasty. If you're looking for a quiet respite from a hectic day, try Brewed Awakenings across the street instead.

My wife (then fiancee) lived at Christina Mill for two years and was really happy with her experience. From my own experience there, the apartments are spacious, and the leasing staff is extremely accommodating to those that abide by the rules and pay their rent on time. When my wife needed a two-week extension before moving out, they had no problem catering to her request. The two downsides to this complex are: 1. rent isn't cheap, and will most likely increase every year, and 2. parking can be an issue. Although a parking spot is guaranteed for every resident, we spent many evenings searching the complex for an available spot, only to find one halfway across the complex.

Borders has a nice selection of books and a very competent staff. They are very willing to help you find the book you need. It's neatly organized and has seating for you to peruse the books. There's also a cafe where you can grab something to eat or study. This is a VERY busy store so at times the lines are extremely long. Prices are at times a little higher than Barnes and Noble, overall though it's a very nice place if you're a book lover.

Write your review here For your information, Jam'n & Java is not your standard coffee house anymore. Because of all the coffee shops on Main St. the owner had to make some changes. He sells great quiche, salads, sandwiches, beer & wine. The Cosmopolitan Club from the Univ. of De. love to meet there. Didn't Kathleen even notice the name change? I don't know why more people don't go there either, Kathleen. The food is great and having the place packed with a lot of chatter doesn't make the atmosphere! A lof of the regulars prefer a more quiet place.

Decent food is not why you go here.
They have a history (it's an old building!), and are a local hang out, with bands playing on the weekends, and a tavern atmosphere.

I have purchased bikes here on several occasions. The store offers a wide variety of bikes at a reasonable price. The thing that makes this store different from other bike stores is the knowledgeable employees. The store also carries helmets and other biking essentials. They also do bike repairs. Here’s a store that has it all for bike riders.

This place was as great as was mentioned in prior reviews. Sadly on December 17th 2005 The Stone Balloon closed its doors forever. This venue hosted some of the biggest names in music, most before they were huge stars. Months before their debut album hit the shelves Hootie and the Blowfish played the Balloon for $600. Meatloaf in his larger days played as well. Bruce Springsteen hit the stage in 1974, the owners had a hard time getting him to stop playing. Dave Matthews Band played at Stone Balloon in the early years, the list goes on and on and on. This was a Delaware icon, now being razed for condos.
