I took my almost one year old son to Kids Kuts over the weekend. IT was great! He got a great haircut and the staff was friendly and the atmosphere was fun. The lady that cut my son's hair was very experienced and knew what she was doing. She showed me the cowlick (sp?) that he has and how she accomodated for it. There are lots of toys for the kids to play with while waiting and lots of fun places for them to sit and have their hair cut! Really cute!

Dr. Szeto has been my doctor for over 10 years. She is also my childrens' doctor. She is a general practitioner who's specialty is Family Medicine. That means that she can be the primary care physician for adults or children.
Dr. Szeto is the only doctor in her practice. She is a kind, caring doctor who really listens to what the patient has to say and works to make sure every need is met. She keep current on all medical practices and medications. She recently switched a medication of mine because current research suggested something else was better.
Dr. Szeto is also excellent with chidren! Many family practitioners are not really very good with children but Dr. Szeto definitely is! She visited both of my children when they were in the NICU EVERY SINGLE DAY!!! Since then, she's taken care of them both, referring them to specialists when necessary.
Sometimes her office can get busy and sometimes it is difficult to get through on the phone. But, it is worth the wait to have a GREAT DOCTOR!!

Excellent place to take you children to learn gymnastics. Instructors at People Plaza are great. They are very patient with the children and keep a close eye on them to ensure their safety. They also have birthday parties with a decorated room. This store is part of a shopping center so there is plenty of parking.

I ate at Applebees on Route 40 in Newark DE over the weekend. I got great service from a server named Cindy. She was prompt and courteous. She brought drink refills before our glasses were even empty! That is good service in my mind.
I ordered one of their appetizer, entree, dessert specials and it was soo good. It was nice to get a dessert with my meal and it was just the right size too. The food was really tasty and fresh. I will be back!

The store is located in very old house probably built in the 1800's. It has a huge variety of gifts from basement to second floor. It was a blast just wandering around each floor looking at the house itself as well as the stocked shelves. It had table settings with plastic food which the kids had fun playing with, candles, jellies, candy, dolls, books, kites, just all kinds of things. They were very polite and helpful. A definite place to see.
PROS: Variety, polite staff
CONS: not handicap accessible
