Klondike Kate's is a haven for college students who don't mind paying an arm and a leg for bad service. Granted, their half-priced nacho night is worth dealing with bad service, but their menu isn't anything spectacular. Unless you know someone who works there, expect to wait a long time to be seated. I waited for over 45 minutes, then walked across the street, got put on Iron Hill's waiting list, and was seated at IH in 5 minutes. I hear they have dancing on the weekends, but if the crowd is anything like those who work there, count me out.

They also have a dance floor which turns wild and groovy on weekends. Great energy place for a college crowd. Easy to hit on chicks too :)

Having eaten in the restaurant on numerous occasions, I have always found the staff to be cheerful, enthusiastic and attentive to my every need. The food is second to none (I especially like the fish) and when I have asked for it to be prepared with my sensitive English palette in my mind, there has never been a problem! I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes a bit of spice and variety in their life. ENJOY!

I tried this once for a variety in life. Their service is good. Their dishes are priced resonably. I wouldn't say it's cheap there but for the quality of food they serve its good. They have a good combination of chefs who make different varieties of dishes as per customer's wish. I ordered for something spicy and they got me the right dish for my taste buds. I will definitely go for it when I crave for mexican food.

Klondike Kates is on Main Street in newark so it is pretty popular with the college crowd. If you get there a bit earlier there are more families and business people there though. The food is very good. The best things about Klondike Kates are the nachos and the yummy frozen drinks.
