This store has a large variety of comics available. The staff at this store are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I like the fact that once a year they have a comic festival and sell comics at a reduced price. One year at the comic festival they had some actual comic writers. The store also has good business hours.

Rainbow Books & Music has been a mainstay in the heart of downtown Newark for many, many years. It is the place in town to find those off-beat cds from local and little-known artists. The employees over the years are always incredibly knowledgeable of their music supply, and always happy to offer suggestions when looking for nothing in particular. The only downfall of Rainbow is that it's located at the end of Main Street, which often provides for a parking challenge.

Borders has a nice selection of books and a very competent staff. They are very willing to help you find the book you need. It's neatly organized and has seating for you to peruse the books. There's also a cafe where you can grab something to eat or study. This is a VERY busy store so at times the lines are extremely long. Prices are at times a little higher than Barnes and Noble, overall though it's a very nice place if you're a book lover.

This store has a huge selection of party supplies. They have it all. During October they also carry halloween supplies. Bought some masks for the children which they had fun playing with. They have fulfilled our balloon orders on time too. This store is part of a shopping center so there is plenty of parking.

I have seen several movies at the Regal Cinema at People's Plaza. I have to first comment that I think that the price of movie tickets is outrageous! But, this is the case at all theatres!
That being said, I usually go to matinee shows to save a bit. The theatres are clean and comfortable.
My daughter and I also enjoyed the Family Fun Festival where they show free movies on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings. That was nice. We saw some cute movies for free. My daughter loves the theatre experience!
This theatre also has an arcade area in the front lobby. This is nice if you arrive early but it is definitely a money eater, especially if you have little kids who want to try it all!

This is a small movie theater but is a good place to see a movie. There are only 3 screens and the lobby is small. We have waited in line outside to get in to see a movie. It’s in a college town so it is pretty busy. It’s part of a shopping center with plenty of parking.

They are versatile, polished & sound great!!
My first assignment at a new job was to select and hire the music for a luxury condominium grand opening party. My colleagues and bosses were testing me a bit. I hired the Tim Laushey Orchestra and my new supervisors were thrilled.
The Tim Laushey Orchestra was courteous, friendly and professional. I have always received compliments on my selection and my guests really enjoyed the music of all types. In addition, I have never had any complaints.

He gives an extremely entertaining presentation that incluces volunteers from the audience. We hired him for my son's 9th birthday. We filmed it, and will have this wonderful experience to look back on for years!

Where do I start. This place is amazing. Clean with an excellent atmosphere. The people are really nice and I have never seen as much as a loud argument much less any trouble. The owner, Gene, is class personified and a real gentleman. The tables are the best I've ever played on and the sticks are actually straight...ALL OF THEM! Best juke box in Delaware and the food is a close second to the juke box. Where else can you play for up to three hours for only $5.00 or play just one hour for $3.00. Lots and lots of cues to purchase...they have it all! Make this your next date. You won't be sorry.
