Days of Knights is not a comic book store. They sell stuff like you'd find at a renaissance fair. They sell board games, collectors cards, settlers of catan, dungeons and dragons, and that kind of stuff. But they also sell stuff with wizards and knights such as statues and collectibles. They do sell comics among other things like 20 sided die, but this is the only store like this in the area. The right people do understand this store.

This is just to the person who was complaining about his "credits." Are you an idiot? Seriously. You take off for an extended period of time and don't even bother to tell the owner of the store that you'll be back to redeem your credits? You obviously didn't care that much. I'm just amazed at your own stupidity. You shouldn't complain about something that's your own fault.

This store has a large variety of comics available. The staff at this store are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I like the fact that once a year they have a comic festival and sell comics at a reduced price. One year at the comic festival they had some actual comic writers. The store also has good business hours.

This store is excellent. While it may require some hunting you can trust that it will pay off in the end. And the hunting is kinda fun...and you must agree or you probably wouldn't care to know about the bookstore in the first place. This place has a great energy and vibe, which is not found in your other traditional places in town. We especially enjoy the power, and the prices are great.

More
Rainbow Books & Music has been a mainstay in the heart of downtown Newark for many, many years. It is the place in town to find those off-beat cds from local and little-known artists. The employees over the years are always incredibly knowledgeable of their music supply, and always happy to offer suggestions when looking for nothing in particular. The only downfall of Rainbow is that it's located at the end of Main Street, which often provides for a parking challenge.

Borders has a nice selection of books and a very competent staff. They are very willing to help you find the book you need. It's neatly organized and has seating for you to peruse the books. There's also a cafe where you can grab something to eat or study. This is a VERY busy store so at times the lines are extremely long. Prices are at times a little higher than Barnes and Noble, overall though it's a very nice place if you're a book lover.

I love this store. It has a comfortable, friendly atmosphere, unlike the stuffy, library-like superstores, and knowledgable staff. I always take my young kids to this place the owner, will often come out and help them with their selections. They have designed their interiors very well. The staff is very friendly and will be willing to help you at any time.

Delaware Book Exchange prides itself on advertising reduced priced books to college students. At the end of the semester, they try and buy back the books for a pittance to resell to the next year. While I can understand their business plan, their employees are mostly rude, not helpful in the least, and don't know much about the book buyback program. I brought a used book (that looked brand new) to them and asked them the value. The employee looked in the reference book and told me at max he could give me $0.75 for the book. I decided to pass and went to the University bookstore, where they offered $15.00 using the same reference book. I decided to sell it online instead, and within hours of posting it, a college student bought it for $35. Don't waste your time here; buy your books online or at the bookstore.

I'm lucky enough to live down the street from (has to be) my favorite bookstore. Besides the great selection of materials you have, I enjoy strolling down the street at midnight for my fresh copy of Harry Potter. :) I like they way they promote a deal or advertise a book to their customers. They have a children section too to keep your kids busy while you are busy hunting down the books. Keep up the good work!!!
