I have been getting my hair done at this place for a year now by the stylists. I pay half what other salons charge. The stylists aren't an experienced lot because they have just been from the beauty school. The entire staff is extremely courteous. The one downside is that if you get your hair done by a young stylist, they need to have your hair checked by a supervisor, so you have to wait a little longer.

If you're in need of a simple bangs trim or a few inches off the ends, give this hair design school a try. You'll have students working on your hair, so having to sign a waver beforehand might come with some unanticipated consequences. However, for the most part, the students are good and prices are CHEAP. For college students, this is a good place to get a quick trim.

So if you're spoiled and broke like I am, hit this place for a mani and pedi by a student on the cheap! I got both for $15 and they were really good! The girl who did my nails did a great job and the young man who did my toes gave the best foot massage! It's a first-come-first-serve basis but well worth the wait. They do hair, also, if you're game!

The quality of service, friendliness, and expertise of staff makes this a terrific place. I love the ambience and uplifting energy of the staff. And, if that is not enough, the prices are very competitive. Great place; great people. Rape of the Locke is my favorite hair and spa service!

I took my almost one year old son to Kids Kuts over the weekend. IT was great! He got a great haircut and the staff was friendly and the atmosphere was fun. The lady that cut my son's hair was very experienced and knew what she was doing. She showed me the cowlick (sp?) that he has and how she accomodated for it. There are lots of toys for the kids to play with while waiting and lots of fun places for them to sit and have their hair cut! Really cute!

They know what they do. I always insist on going to this place whenever I feel like having a hair cut. I friend recommended this place to me and I am grateful to him. The people there are very friendly. Their price per hair cut is very competitive with other barber shops in the vicinity. I like the way they handle their customers even if they have a whole load of them waiting in a long queue. I would definitely recommend this to my friends. I reduced a star because it's difficult to get an appointment with them.

My stylist here is great. Even though I don't have much hair, she always thinks of something fun and creative to do with it. She does dreads, extensions, colours and cuts for all my friends and they love her! The staff there is attentive and smart - it's a place where you can bring a picture in and actually get the results you were looking for.

Basically, if you want a unique or edgy haircut you need to go here. You will not get a boring, run of the mill haircut here (unless that’s what you want...). I chopped off my long hair this summer and she was so awesome. Listened to my concerns and clearly understood. I’ve NEVER completely loved a haircut until now! They also do great color, extensions and dreads. AND! A great atmosphere. Totally unpretentious.
