I took my daughter to a new bowling league that formed at Brunswick Lanes and she loves it. The people there are really nice and the coach is helpful. Every week she gets to bowl and it only costs $6.25 per week for 2 games and shoes and a party at the end! How much fun is that for a 7 year old kid. And, best of all, theya re teaching her to bowl without bumpers so that is really neat. She has a 24 average right now which doesn't sound like much but she's improving all the time!

The Children's Place has some nice clothes for chidren but, in my opinion, most of them are overpriced. The cutest things are for the littlest kids, especially babies. Some of the clothes that I have looked at for older girls (age 7), seem a little "mature" for a child so I don't buy much of that. The baby clothes are usually very cute but I have to wait for a REALLY good sale before I go there.

They have fulfilled our balloon orders on time too. This store is part of a shopping center so there is plenty of parking.

They also have a neat rewards program that gives you points for every dollar you spend. They also send you coupons if you are a member of the rewards program. The prices are also very competitive.

I brought my bridemaid maid dresses from here. I wish I went here first because I would have gotten my wedding dress from here! This place has a great selection. I truly like the designers they have to choose from. I was treated like a queen and felt that each person was sincere. I highly recommend this place for all wedding needs!

I visited Dr. Otto a number of years ago when my health insurance covered his practice. I would have continued but my insurance changed.
Dr. Otto is a friendly, knowledgable optometrist. He is thorough in his examinations and patient with his patients.
His office staff is also friendly and helpful. Making appointments with Dr. Otto was never difficult. There was never much of a wait to see the doctor either, though the waiting area is large and comfortable.
I would recommend Dr. Otto if you are looking for an optometrist.

Gore products are the absolute best for outdoor wear. They sell outerwear and shoes and boots for all kinds of outdoor activites. These items are very expensive, but they are definitely worth it. When hiking and camping in cold weather, the coats and boots keep me warm and dry. I've found nothing better.

Formal Affairs is Newark's local shop for tuxedos and men's formal wear. I think the store caters mostly to its student population, busy with formals and Greek-sponsored events. Service is very friendly, but I wouldn't say their selection is all that impressive. For locals and students without a car, Formal Affairs offers a reasonable venue for renting a tuxedo or suit.

The Ski Bum is a very good place to find everything you need for your next ski outing. They offer a wide variety of choice as far as brands are concerned. The staff is more than accommodating in helping you to decide exactly what will suit you, and they do the tweeking of skis at the store, which is very convenient. They also offer a nice variety of apparel, so you'll be quite stylish on your next trip!

Although I loved the items sold here, the location is terrrible. The parking lot is so congested. I avoid this area at all costs during the holiday season. Unfortuately, I did not see a listing for the newer Kohl's on route 40 in Newark. I would recommend going there instead. Great new and big store. Best of all, it has a large very lighted parking lot with easy access into and out of.
PROS: Great Items Sold
CONS: Very Bad Parking Lot
