My boyfriend & I went to celebrate a special occasion & we wanted to go later on Sat. night to avoid a long wait. Despite the 10:15 reservation, we were seated 30mins later. To our dismay, all we could hear was the bass from the club above the restaurant! That was VERY disappointing. We did have a good time, though, & both of us left stuffed. I wouldn't recommend the oil. The batters they give you to dip the meat in are not very good at all. I WILL go back for the cheese & chocolate, just not late on a weekend night. Pros: cheese & chocolate, espresso, good area Cons: loud music above!, long wait, despite reservations

i've been to the Melting Pot in a few other cities, and i loved the unusual theme and delicious food. thus, i decided to take my significant other for a special birthday. i must admit i found the nashville branch somewhat less impressive than others. it lacks windows, and despite my early reservation we were seated near the kitchen, which was somewhat unromantic. still, i would recommend the Melting Pot to anyone. just be sure to get a good table. Pros: good food, excellent service, impressive date Cons: expensive as hell, tables near kitchen, no windows
