I have been going to Darfons several times a month for year now. A few of the servers have come to recognize me and each time I come in they seem to only get more friendly toward me. The food is amazing, and the service is even better. And coming from an african american female, I know they do not discriminate. That's hard to find these days. The servers, hostess, managers, bartenders, even the bus boys have all treated me fairly and with respect every single visit. My favorite thing on the menu is the Jack Daniel's Ribeye and I get it almost every time I go to Darfons. Also, Ive been to one of their wine tastings out on the patio which has garage doors that open and close for when the weather is nice. I'll tell you one thing, those people know wine! Great service! Keep it up Darfons! Pros: patio, service, catering, food, wine tastings

it's had been a while since i had been in and i was pleasantly surprised to see some newer menu items. i couldn't believe they didn't make their onion soup anymore but the tomato bisque that took it's place is absolutely delicious! i was really glad i gave it a try and will go back more often.

I was looking for some place to dine while waiting to pick up my boyfriend from the airport, and found Darfon's on the internet. I was a little nervous considering some of the reviews I read, but decided to give it a shot. I'm really glad I did! I was seated right away, even though the restaurant seemed really busy and I thought I would have to wait. I was promptly greeted by my server who introduced herself as Karen. Usually when I eat at a restaurant by myself during a busy lunch rush, the server tends to make me feel rushed and like I'm inconveniencing them. Not here! Karen was friendly, polite and seemed genuinley glad I was there. She recommended the grilled prime rib sandwich, and it was AMAZING! I got the red-skinned mashed potatoes as my side, and they were also excellent, I could tell they were homemade, not half instant like most restaurants do. I decided to stick around for dessert. I ordered the creme brulee, and it was also AWESOME! Most of the times, creme brulee tends to be frozen inside or burnt on top, but this was perfect, like it was made just for me! And it was topped with a huge pile of fresh strawberries, YUM! When the bill came, I was shocked that I got all this for below $20! If you haven't tried this place, go! You won't be disappointed! Pros: everything!

In response to the review below about the people who sat out on the patio, I was out there at the same time as these women and they were very rude and started complaining the minute they were sat. I am a regular here and come weekly, and have never had a bad experience. These women wanted to have they doors opened, and their server explained to them that it was not possible due to the heat and the flies. They were not in the restaurant longer than 45 minutes, so I don't know what made them feel like they had to wait so long when I saw that they did not wait long at all. Even after the management discounted their meals, they were still not happy because it was not free even though it appeared they had eaten everything. Please give this place a shot, and don't let these few bad apples spoil the whole bunch! Pros: Great food and service, great daily specials

Darfons has a very nice patio that they never use. No matter how the weather is. We asked the server Carolyn to open the patio and she said the owner(Sam) does not like for it to be open because it messes up the air conditioning???? It took her 15 minutes for her to take the order and another 25 for the meal to come out. There was only 2 other tables taken at the time so we are not sure what took so long. We ordered wings and asked for all wings vs.drummies. She said no problem and she brought out both parts. She said the kitchen does not understand the difference. The other person at the table had hair in her food and they stil made her pay 6 dollars instead of 11!! We told them our complaints and they did nothing about it. When we were leaving we heard someone scream good-bye and it was Carolyn the waitress screaming from the patio windows that she opened once we left. We are all minorities and it really made us feel discriminated against seeing that Carolyn is white. Cons: Not friendly towards minorities!!

Darfons has the WORST service in the world. They seat you at a table and then take 30 mins to take your drink order then another 30 mins to take your food order. The Management is Horrible, there was a problem at my table and the manager on duty tried to blame it on us. We explained the entire problem and the manager still didn't provide a solution. WTH?!!! I guess they don't want anyone to become repeat customers. The food was burnt and it took to long for it to come out of the kitchen. I don't know why it took so long considering there were like 3 tables with 2 or 3 people at each. I truly do not plan on going back to Darfons. They are rude, unprofessional and lack customer service skills. Cons: EVERYTHING IS BAD AT DARFONS - SERVICE, MANAGEMENT AND FOOD
