We recently celebrated my parent?s 50th wedding anniversary at the New Orleans Manor. Everything was wonderful from the moment I first contacted them until they dropped us back off at our hotel. They were very accommodating, even customizing the menu for the occasion and providing a private room. The food was scrumptious and worth every penny. My father exclaimed that the prime rib was the best he has had. This is a great complement since prime rib is his favorite and he has experienced it at many restaurants. My husband, who doesn't normally eat oysters, commented that the Oysters Rockefeller was very good. The Filet Mignon was melt in your mouth tender and the seafood very fresh. The wait staff was very friendly and attentive making sure the evening was special. They even provided a complimentary shuttle service to and from our hotel. The only sad part about the evening was realizing that I would be going back home to Indianapolis the next day and not able to return to the restaurant soon. Rest assured we will make sure to make New Orleans Manor a part of our next trip to Nashville.

We had never been to this restaurant and we stopped by on a whim. Both of us ordered the pulled pork with two sides. I had the baked beans with potato salad and my companion had steamed cabbage with macaroni and cheese. The baked beans were delicious, the macaroni and cheese tasted homemade, the steamed cabbage was flavorful; however the potato salad was good but lacking something.
The pulled pork was AWESOME, it did not need sauce because it was so tender and flavorful. It is a good thing it did not need sauce because the mild sauce (on the table) was bizarre in flavor and the Habanero sauce was WAY to spicy for me. My companion ate the Habanero sauce and had sweat rolling off their nose.
The server was WONDERFUL and we never lacked for refills. We did not have to ask for anything, it was just automatically provided.
Pros: Can't get enough of those muffins!
Cons: The sauces, but it doesn't need it either.

I like Jack's a lot because of all the choices they have in terms of meats and sauces and because you get a lot for your money. It's not the healthiest food around, but if you want good BBQ in Nashville, this is it. I've waited in long lines here before, also, but it actually goes pretty fast!

The fish tacos at Chile Burrito are just the best! I drive out of my way to get them. Be careful going here around lunch time, as the line is often out the door. The service is fast and friendly, they have my order prepared for me before I even get to the counter (I eat here about 3 times per week).

first of all, this place has an amazing atmosphere. and the prices are also amazing. you can get a drink, soup or salad, an entree, and dessert for what? under eight bucks a person? you do get what you pay for, you get more than what you pay for. as far as the food goes, it is fairly decent italian food. its always very quick and the service is professional.

Cons: sometimes a wait, downtown=pay for parking.

I went to Jack's my first time today. I'm so glad I went because it is literally the best bbq I have ever put in my mouth! I pulled up to the drive thru window and after the lady ran my card, it was declined. I had ordered the family pack so it wasn't cheap. The lady said not to worry and she took care of it. It was one of the kindest things anyone has ever done for me and my family. This is such a wonderful place and the staff is amazing. I'm a customer for life and it's worth the drive!

Copper Kettle is quickly becoming my new favorite place to eat in Nashville. Their food is fresh and they had a wide selection and menu that changes from day to day. My husband is somewhat of a food snob and isn't easily impressed, and he says their Reuben is the best he's ever had. Their mashed potatoes are incredible. I really haven't eaten anything there that I didn't enjoy.
As great as their food is Monday through Friday, Sunday is the best time to go for their brunch. They have a huge buffet of cheeses, salads, meats, desserts and will make an omelet any way you like it. INCREDIBLE food!
We go to the new location on Peabody and the atmosphere is warm and friendly and the service is great. Now that warmer weather is coming and they have the patio open, it's going to be even better. I just can't say enough good things about this place. If you haven't been, stop what you're doing and go.

My mother had her 65th birthday here today on September 4th. She said the food was great: cheese pasta, pizza, salad and cheddar broccoli soup. But, she said the coolest part of the experience was an Italian Birthday song, sung by no less than Cesar himself wearing a cake hat. He actually sung Happy Birthday in Italian, and it made her feel festive for the rest of the day! She also enjoyed the dessert, a wine glass full of ice cream delight.
