Pancake Pantry is a part of Nashville culture. Not only do the locals and tourists both wait in long lines (rain, snow or shine) but so do the local celebrities. It's amazing food and usually really good service. Worth the time to eat and not that pricey, either!
Pros: Chocolate Sin Pancakes - HEAVEN
Cons: Long Wait

By far, the most beautiful and cordial environment in the world! Take a ride on the river running through this glass-domed 9 acres. At Christmas, you are inside a Winter Wonderland. The many bars, restaurants and coffee shops are first class. Want to find something unique? Lots of boutiques, walkways to stroll, extraordinary landscaping and 5 minutes from the Grand Ole Opry. We LOVED the experience and will go back!

This is such a great restaurant. I only wish I lived closer so I could go more often. They have great buffets with lots of delicious choices. The pasta bar is so good! I hear they have a mimosa bar also ... I will definitely need to come back for a Sunday brunch. They have very friendly employees that make you feel right at home. I would definitely recommend this place!!!
Pros: Beautiful restaurant, great service & amazing food
Cons: I wish I lived closer so I could go there more often

IWe went to Chappy's for the first time last week. I had heard good and mediocre reviews. All I can say is that the food we had was fantastic. The oyster trio was excellent. The blackened prime rib was perfectly prepared and the veal was excellent. Yes it was expensive. But it ws so good that it didn't matter. The Chef came by our table to meet us which was a nice touch. The service was excellent. I was also impressed that the band was able to play at a low enough level to allow concersation. We had a great time.
Pros: great ambiance with live music
Cons: needs more traditionally cajun food on the menu

Tin Angel is a great Nashville restaurant.
The food is fabulous and reasonably priced. Few other restaurants in town are as fun and delicious as this one. Everything on the menu is fresh, and I love that the menu is constantly evolving. I particularly love the bowl entrees.
The food is not Tin Angel's only highlight; the service is impeccable. All of the servers have been incredibly familiar with everything on the menu, and they have all been exceptionally accommodating.
Great date spot!
Pros: Best service and fresh food
Cons: They sometimes don't serve bread

So living in the Nashville area I find myself stopping by Cafe CoCo's on a regular basis. I love everything from the people working there, to the coffee, and the food! It's a great place to go and maybe get homework done while sipping on a coffee, or just chatting with some friends before or after the club. I love that it is open 24 hours. Makes it convienent to go whenever you can. I would def say that everyone should go. Just not when I do because the line can get pretty long. Not the best place to go if your in a hurry.. But if you want to chill, relax and just think. Def worth going :)
Pros: people, environment
Cons: long lines

My husband and I first visited Nashville last summer while moving our daughter to Vanderbilt University and we just happened upon Hillsboro Village. Our daughter spent much of her time shopping at the various clothing stores while we checked out the restaurants and cafes. Much to our delight, we wondered into Provence. We've been back twice since spring break and think their soups and sandwiches are better than anything Orlando has to offer. If only Provence would come to FL and open in Orlando. I would be sipping coffee and having lunch with my girlfriends every day if we had a place like this. Things to try: the coffee, the croissants, paninni sandwiches, and the SOUPS. The staff remembered us from our last visit and the manager insisted we try the bread basket with jams...delicious, crusty breads and homemade preserves.
Can't wait to return to Nashville and Hillsboro Village!

My sister and I recently visited Nashville for the All For the Hall Concert and read that the breakfasts at Fido's were fantastic. Rachel Ray had recommended the brother shop (Bongo Cafe), but because we wanted a really good breakfast we chose to try Fido's. We are so glad that we did. If we had had more time, we would have gone back again and again. Next time we go to Nashville this is definitely going to be our spot. The Huevos Cubana was wonderful and my sister got the blueberry pancakes. Check out their menu on Fido's website. Of course, the coffee was a highlight and the prices were very reasonable.
Pros: Great Atmosphere, Very Friendly and Cozy
Cons: None - Great Hang out Place
