As a visitor from Europe, I was pleased to see that there was a bus service.The fare is only 1 dollar (no change) and you can get a transfer for free, so you can go from one side of town to the other. You can see routes and timetables at http://www.nashuarpc.org/citybus . Journeys are rather slow as daytime services drive into shopping centers. Evening service is faster, but be warned there is no service Saturday evening, Sunday or Holidays. At the small bus station you can connect with long distance buses, but I was shocked that there was only one bus one bus a day to Boston. MA and one to Manchester, NH ( http://www.vermonttransit.com )

As a visitor from Europe, I was pleased to see that there was a bus service.The fare is only 1 dollar (no change) and you can get a transfer for free, so you can go from one side of town to the other.
