You can get several nice pieces and designer gowns for bargains here. My wife has bought some pieces from here and they have all turned out good. The prices are a fraction of the original price so they are quite affordable. It would bea good idea to check back often as the stuff she has varies frequently

This bookstore has been my favorite place to get a signed copy of my favorite author. I find otherwise hard to find books and good bargains often at this downtown location. I also take my kids frequently to the story time they organize. This is always fun and my kids look fwd to it. Its conveniently located in downtown Naperville and I always arrange my visit to coincide those with any author. The visit details can be found out from any major daily
PROS: Location, Cost, Meet the author, Story time

This store, or collection of little shops, has just about any type of antique or collectible you could want. The prices are all over the map. Some things are priced much too high, some things are a steal. The employees are the same as the prices. I have been treated pretty rudely and have had the money snatched out of my hand by the cashier, but some of the employees can be quite nice.

This is the most amazing place I've ever been to for scrapbooking, and other crafts like that. They're selection is HUGE, and really affordable. The large workroom in the back is always open, unless they're doing classes, which are usually AWESOME, but kind of expensive. I recommend Archiver's to anyone who mentions scrapbooking.

Bargain Books is a place I thought I would frequent a great deal more, being the "libersaurus" that I am. Sometimes you'll come across a marked down gem, like the paperbook copy of a just released, popular fantasy novel, but more often than not I don't find a great deal to interest me. Prices tend to be unusually high for products that out of date or replaced by newer versions; this is especially true for "dated" non-fiction, like travel and history. I get the sense a lot of the stock sits on the tables for quite some time because turn over is rather low. Unfortunately this was a disappointment for me and I check it out every few weeks while visiting JoAnn's or Plato's Closet (in the same complex), but don't hold your breath for a favourite novel or cherished tabletop book to show up.

Perched in the heart of downtown Naperville on the corner of Chicago Ave, and Washington, just footsteps from the river, this store is a comfortable place to go and browse, grab a quick snack, or (gasp) buy books, magazines, or music. Whenever I am in Naperville I always stop by; and its the favorite of my two daughters. The atmosphere is congenial, the clerks are always friendly, and the store sits across the street from one of my favorite restaurant, The Mongolian Barbeque.
<p>
Parking is not an issue; the bookstore shares the block with free public parking garage with ample handicapped parking stalls.
PROS: Centrally located in downtown Naperville...
