Who could be excited about the colon? It's a rhetorical question, but becomes real when diverticulitis sideswipes you. Scott Berger is caring and completely focused on you, the patient. His front office staff is busy but you are made to feel like you are super important to them. I had seen 2 other local GI guys before Dr. Berger. One was a surgeon who told me all about his vacation (Do I care?) and the other all about his children (Again, do I care when my gut is wrenching?). These had been recommended by my primary care doc, Dr. Berger by friends. There was a long wait time for a first-time patient, but the staff got me in in 4 days due to a rare cancellation. Dr. Berger took nearly an hour talking to me ABOUT ME. I scheduled a colonoscopy as recommended. I had one benign polyp which was removed. Dr. Berger had explained everything so carefully that I was at ease with everything. The procedure was done in his office, conveniently located with great parking by the way. This is a thorough, highly respected doctor whose reputation has not gone to his head. The entire staff really gets it in terms of caring treatment.

This doctor is great at what she does. She related well to my kids when she tested them, wrote thorough reports, and will even go to IEP meetings with us if the school gives us a hard time. The two families I referred to her had nothing but good to say about her services. She is very down to earth.

I have used Dr. Sailor and his staff for many years. I just love their holistic approach to non-invasive methods and their staff is wonderful with their physical therapy treatments as well.Dr. Sailor and his staff are very active in many community efforts and that says a lot for them when they could just go home at the end of the day. I like that too.I would recommend them for a very good preventative and continual health care program for all ages.

Don't visit Dominick's if you're trying to save money, because prices are consistently higher than those at nearby Jewel and Butera. However, if you're taking into consideration your overall shopping experience, Dominick's is the clear winner. With a Chase/BankOne and Starbucks inside, it's hard not to like this supermarket. The produce is fresh, though not cheap. The deli and hot market/ready made lunch counter is the best I've seen. Although they are somewhat limited in their selection of international food, their gourmet cheeses and meats are impressive.
The main drawback, aside from prices, is that they have yet to install self-serve checkouts; lines form quite quickly. Also, watch yourself in the parking lot. I've had quite a number of near-misses; the poorly marked lot is an accident waiting to happen!

Doctor Lichon has been a tremendous help to me regarding my rheumatoid arthritis. When I walked into his office five years ago, I was in tremendous pain and at my wits end.
Doctor has managed my care and although RA is not curable he has managed to keep me moving and limit my disability.
If you have arthritis and need extra care, Doctor Lichon is an excellent doctor.

Dr. Jensen has an excellent day-side manner. She makes you so comfortable when you could be very uncomfortable.
She takes her time with you and allows you to ask questions.
She had quite a big practice and the waiting list to see her can be long but she is well worth it. I usually make my appointment four months or more in advance.
Dr. Jensen was recently in the newspaper because she delivered a baby under 1 lb. The baby has done well and we were excited about this. A lovely lady.
