Butera is the best grocery store in the area for authentic Mexican cuisine, but it all also has a wide variety of Asian rarities. Fresh meats and produce are generally very well priced. Not everything is a steal, but they usually have the cheaper options available, like in the case of frozen vegetables.

I recently had a wonderful wine at a restaurant in Oswego. I am NOT a wine drinker and feel that all wines usually have a really horrible aftertaste. Well after loving a wine I contacted Binny's via the internet with my question of "do you have it in your store" or "are you able to order it for me."
They contacted me back by phone only a few days later and told me that they would be happy to order either as many bottles as I wanted or a case. They also gave me the prices of each to make my decision even easier. I ended up ordering just three bottles. The woman that I spoke to told me that it would take on an average of 2 weeks for it to come in. But only a few days later I received a message that my wine was waiting for me at the store ! You really can't get any better service than that ! I was truly impressed !

Jewel Osco is one of our family's trusted grocery stores. They've recently installed price checker machines in several aisles and a brand new AccuScan kiosk at the entrance, which with the swipe of your discount card gives you sales personalized to your shopping history. The store also has a decent wine selection, although the prices aren't that great. For one stop shopping, however, Jewel is a safe bet.

Although Dominick's has overall higher prices compared to nearby Jewel Osco, it is a great grocery store. It has a Starbucks and Chase Bank inside, not to mention a photo processing center, liquor store, and sandwich shop. The produce and meat is usually really fresh, and they have a substantial frozen foods section. The aisles are wider here than at most grocery stores, which makes it really easy for navigating with a cart.
