They showed me a letter from insurance stating it would pay less than expected, so I had to pay more than planned: I did and paid $266 too much. In fact they have been paid rapidly and normally by the insurance, but after 7 weeks and several calls, I still have not been repaid. One little last thing: My insurance says they never send this "letter" to them: Avoid this place, and above everything: do not pay more than what you think will be covered: pay less !

I must apologize. I wrote that Dr. Garcia and her laboratory gave no warranty for a broken partial when in fact, a 6 month warranty was provided. I chose a partial with plastic clasps around the teeth instead of chrome metal clasps because of the look. I was advised that the plastic clasps might be more fragile but I didn't want metal showing...would you?
Anyway, the $60 fee was the lab expense for the repair...Dr. Garcia was willing to spend the time and materials to get my denture fixed for no added fee ...Thank you Dr. Garcia. In the 6 months that I have been wearing my partial, I've had no other problems to this point. I guess I was pretty upset about this yesterday but after thinking it over, the office seems to have behaved reasonably.

I thought I had found a good dentist. Until today, I had a Unilateral Partial back in Dec 08. The clasp broke and I went back today to talk to Dr.garcia. She said I would have to pay out of pocket $60 so lab could fix it.So I said what about the $700 I paid in Dec? Naperbrook uses labs that give 6 mo warrany on their product that's it. After that you are on your own. I am furious. I am going straight to the BBB and local ADA because I feel like I was encouraged to buy into a product that was defective and not good. I hate when Dentists and dental offices scam and fleece their patients! Lack of professionalism and loyalty towards their patients is the #1 priority here at Naperbook, Naperville and Riverbend in Elgin, corporate office is ProDental Care in Arlingtone Heights.

I went to Dr. Garcia once and will never go back. I was never seen by a hygienist. She spent about 20 min. cleaning when it should have been at least 50. She also seemed to lack experience as she messed up my husband's fillings twice. Needless to say, we have both switched.

Responding to Mr D assertion of "overcharge", the facts appear to belie the rhetoric. Mr. D was charged his 50% copay for services based on his primary plan. He had two insurance plans. There were/are NO charges unrelated to his dental treatment. He was refunded after his 2nd insurance paid his claim. The second insurance company must see the payment explanation from the first, so to be paid by both plans within 7 weeks is a fast turnaround. His refund was issued promptly upon receipt of the second insurance benefit. His gross lack of understanding of his benefit and the claims process is unfortunate.

They overcharged me by $548.40 for a Crown. Now, the way they overcharged me is by entering different codes in there system not related to the crown, so I begin to call a few day’s later inquiring about every description on my statement and they said they will call me back, but they never did, so after 7 weeks they finally sent me a refund for $548.40. I will never go back to NAPERBROOK DENTISTRY AGAIN!

It does not matter how many messages you leave pleading them to give you a call back with an answer to your question. They will just ignore it. I wanted to get a check-up (x-rays) before trying to get pregnant and I had to literally go there just to get an answer on when was my next check-up due and when I could get x-rays (and get covered by the insurance).

I know, dentists have to make money too. However, I went in for a routine
cleaning today, and the dental hygenist took xrays, then told me I had
cavities (i've never had cavities before) and polished my teeth. Didn't
clean them, polished them.
The dentist came in and said Oh you need a deep cleaning. I've had
this done before, a few years ago, and felt like it's what a regular cleaning
was. They charged me $200 for 'antibiotic listerine' back then. This time,
it was only 40$, but the added charge for a non-normal cleaning was
$100.00.
I feel if you have an HMO, the dentists try to get you to pay more so they
make more, and this is how I felt today. I told the Dentist I did not
have the money to pay for these services, and he jumped up and left
the room without saying a word.
He didn't even push the tray out of my way.
I went in for a cleaning, and got nothing.
Never again. I went back to work and switched to the PPO. And i'll
get a 2nd opinion.
