Pet Safari is our home away from home. We have been using them for 5 years we wouldn't THINK OF TAKING OUR DAUGTHER ( SUMMER A YELLOW LAB) anywhere else. We are always treated with the up most respect they are the best!!!! They always have a smile on there faces when you enter the door of this 10 star resort you feel the love and care. They know us by name and Summer knows when she going to pet safari before we leave the house I get her things ready to go and she's right behind me crying because she knows where she's going.She can't wait to get there she has so much fun. They are always on top of everything that she needs. So we would advise anyone that loves there pet it would be a treat for them to go. We all need play time !!! They really care and enjoy what they do it shows. Thank you Pet safari you are the geatest. I have been taking my pups to Safari for a long time. I had taken them once to another so called reputable place in Murfreesboro and well that was it for me. You talk about appalling, I felt guilty for weeks after that experience. Well, let me tell you one thing. I certainly DO NOT feel that way when I take them to the best boarding facility in the state of TN. Actually, I can't believe my pups, when I pick them up from day camp. they don't even come to me first. They go to one of the receptionist and sit and wait on their ice cream treat. It certainly looks kinda bad for Mom to be dragging my dogs out the door. Let me tell you, their staff is so precious. They know your pet by name as well as the Mom or Dad, and they are always so nice! I have never seen any one of them without a smile on their face and so happy to see your pet. And to the review person that gave them the 1 star just because they opened at 6 or whatever, that's just it......THEY OPEN AT 6.....NOT 5:45, NOT 5:50. It's a business for crying out loud. I'm just SO SURE that all the other merchants you frequent open 10 minutes early just for you. You have no idea what they have to do before they open, and until you you should keep your mouth shut. Did you know you can go and tour the facility at any time that they are open? What does that tell ya! I'm so sorry you had such a bad experience when you left your Aussie cattle dog there. Maybe the dog is just getting bad vibes from it's parents. I have had to wait on Sunday evenings just as everyone else. But ya know what? I truly enjoy talking with the other pet lovers that are waiting as well. No telling how many folks these guys talk to a day about boarding and grooming. You would think they would tired of it, but no, the enthusiasm is always there. They take such pride in their work. Did you know that there receptionists have been there for years? Do they ever act like they are tired of it? NO! So go somewhere else, they don't need people like you. Pros: EVERYTHING....NOT THE FIRST COMPLAINT! Cons: NONE...NO, NO, NO

Congrats to Safari on their newest awards this year! I am so pleased with each and every employee that works there. Everyone is so down to earth and they really do care for your pet! My pet really enjoys daycamp and I love to read all the report cards that she brings home to me. If something ever happens to my pet while she is there, the Supervisor will come and speak with you and explain what is exactly happening. I have never be so happy with a facility as I have been with Safari Pet Resort!! Guess that's why they are always winning awards! They are that good and more! Pros: DayCamp, Extended hours, award winning...CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN Cons: none

I just to say to Friends of Cole, that I know what you are talking about. It may have been a reccomendation from kennel staff but surely you can understand that they certainly know about these things and the only reason they made their decision was for the safety of the other dogs as well as your pets as well. They also have to look out for their employees too. You certainly can get badly injured from breaking up a dog fight. Dominance is not a good thing for others that trust their pet's care while at Safari, and if you put yourself in the other customer's shoes, you Would understand why, PLEASE HAVE YOUR PET SPAYED OR NEUTERED Pros: THE ABSOLUTE BEST Cons: NONE

Lilly is a Yorkshire Terrier weighing 4 lbs and almost 3 years old. Her first visit to Safari was in January when mom and dad went on a vacation!!! She absolutely loved Safari and I could tell when i went to pick her up. She could care less about us! She went right to the gate of the "play room" to look at the other dogs and try to play. It took her a day or so to adjust to being the only dog again and I think she would prefer to be with the group as long as possible! It is worth every penny and I have researched for several months before feeling comfortable leaving Lilly. She is currently staying at their facility during thanksgiving and again during xmas time! Lilly was calm and happy when I dropped her off a few days ago and I'm excited for all her new adventures. Believe, me, great place for all sizes....I drive an hour to get to the place because I know I have peace of mind when I'm gone. Pros: Positively socializing animal, excellent care and love, peace of mind for owner Cons: none

I took my blue heeler to Safari Pet Resort for a two night stay while my husband and I attended an out of town wedding. It was the worst experience of her life! We arrived to bring her home 10 minutes before the appointed pick up time, and it was literally pouring rain outside. I ran up to the door, eager to greet my beloved doggie, knocked on the glass door, and was told by the employee who looked out : "It's not time to pick up the pets." It was pouring rain, I'm 10 minutes early, and I'm told by a rude employee that I'm not allowed to get my dog yet! When they finally decided to let the customers in (most of whom were waiting outside in the rain holding umbrellas) I was appalled at her condition! She was so stressed from her stay she had started losing her fur! She was so hoarse she could barely speak, and her mouth was extremely dry, as if she hadn't had any water to drink. Her beautiful, normally shiny and clean coat, was matted and dusty. She was a nervous wreck when she saw me, and she appeared to be terrified. I've read what the owners wrote: "We do feel it is unfortunate, however, to occasionally encounter false or unsubstantiated statements on some local postings." I can assure you that what I have written is not false. I don't know what they did or didn't do while my dog was at their facility. But I can tell you this, my extremely intelligent dog has not been the same since her experience there. In my opinion, this place doesn't even deserve one star! Pros: It looks nice from the street. Cons: Poor care, rude employees, overly expensive

Though they didn't nearly kill my dog like the other reviewer claims I do think their prices are way too high for what you actually receive. I always use pet sitters now. My dog doesn't smell bad when I get home, and he is happy because he has been at home and hasn't been in a cage for a week.

I have been taking my dog to Safari for two years now. The atmosphere is wonderful, and the owners and staff are so interested in my dog--they are so excited to greet him when he comes in for daycamp or a groom and they even remember his name. They are so open and friendly, you can even sign up to view your dog's playtime on a webcam, and I've used this service many times--you know a company is true to its word when you can watch them on video anytime you want. I highly recommend Safari Pet Resort to both dog and cat lovers, they really love animals and it's apparent in everything they do. Safari came so highly recommended to me, and now I know why. I will always recommend Safari as the highest quality grooming and boarding facilty. Thanks, Safari staff--keep up the good work!
