Most take-out Chinese is pretty much the same. You pretty much know when you open the cardboard box what you'll get.
Hong Kong Chop Suey is very much in that genre, but the food is really, really good. Their egg rolls (which I understand are somehow made with peanut butter!) are delicious, and everything is first-rate. There's no need to ever order out from anywhere else!

If you want a pound of breaded shrimp, it will take a few minutes to get your order, as it is cooked to order. Nothing sits around. Don't bypass the cole-slaw. It has the perfect blend of tastes.

I have been coming to El Barrio for 15 years and their shrimp fajitas are the BEST of any I've had in other Mexican restaurants. The shrimp are succulent and tender without being mushy, the flavor is outstanding. and the portions are quite generous. The garnishes of guacamole, pico de gallo, and sour cream that are included are plentiful as well. The service is excellent and the ambience is friendly.
Pros: good parking, good value

My son has taken violin lessons from here as well as rented his clairnet. The value cannot be beat. The owner's name is Jeff and he made certain that my son was comfortable with his instruments and that they were the correct size so he could play them easily. A fun place to hang around as talented people stop by to chat with the staff and try out new equiptment.

Looking for breakfast any time of the day? This is the place to go. They do serve other items (lunch and dinner entrees) but the breakfasts are great.
The place is clean and large enough that the smoking and non-smoking sections are far enough away. They are busy on the weekends but worth the wait.
I love getting the eggs and potatoes and having pancakes instead of toast. The coffee is good. The service is good. The prices are great. Good for family or casual dining.
